Kaito was always the quietest of his family, making him the outsider as he never wanted to take over the family like the rest of the family. He didn't know how to explain it, but he always felt like something was pulling him to wonder, which explains why their stepmother always finds him in the woods with his Night Fury, Huntress, who felt like the only person in the world who understood him most of the time, — other than now Kizzy — he didn't really hate being inside, but it always felt like something out there was pulling him outside all of the time.
He was the middle child, always overlooked, always ignored, even on the rare time when he does speak.
Sugita was the elderest child, the one most likely to take over the family when their father dies.
Ryu was the youngest, the one who was less likely to take over, but because Kaito showed no interest in taking over, after Sugita got infected, someone sent Genji to wipe Ryu out of the picture, but that failed because of Exterminator.
Kaito couldn't explain why he was selectively mute, he couldn't even remember if he tried, just that he always had been since he was a kid.
When he met Kizzy, he didn't know what to think. She was so pretty, but he didn't know how to talk to her, until one of the others in DOUBT paired him with her, because he couldn't handle working with anyone else, other than Huntress at the time. Everyone either quiting, or ending up in the hospital, because he was so unpredictable, but that was probably because he was a vampire and had a Night Fury like Huntress. And then he was paired with Kizzy and everything just clicked, Huntress wasn't hostile, actually at ease, not feeling like she had to protect her rider. And then he started dating Kizzy.
Shortly after they decided to date, they had met Rocky, a lone scout at the time, he held his own really well, especially against Kizzy as she is very good at quick attacks. Kaito was actually surprised how well Rocky didn't even back down, until he found out Kizzy was a woman, which a lot of people don't seem to notice as she was a man at the time.
And form there, they slowly formed White Rascals. It was clear Rocky wasn't too good at interacting with women at the time as he made a few mistakes, but Kizzy was always quick to back him off, acting like an annoying sister, and despite her history with being in DOUBT, she knew how to handle situations. Of course there was one incident that didn't end well, which sent Rocky into a small depression spiral, but Kizzy quickly fixed that by deciding to use a white color, which some times — at least to Kaito and some others — wasn't the best color choice, but it works, just as long as they don't get in too many fights...
Of course, there was still Mugen at the time, and with just the three of them, they stood no chance wining a fight against the biker gang that ruled the S.W.O.R.D district, unlike the legendary Amamiya brothers — Masaki and Hiroto — who were the strongest siblings at the time. Even when Moon joined, who seemed to be very close to Rocky, even helped Kizzy come up with a lot of things, even the logo as he kept making comments that helped them come up with it, especially when he talked to Rocky, but that still didn't give them much of a chance, not until the fall of Mugen when their leader had died from getting hit with a car, which was driven by someone in the Kuyru Group.
Kizzy seemed as if she really liked talking to Moon, even getting some insight on why Rocky was the way he was, but of course, it took a bit of convincing to get Moon to tell her as he didn't want to give away details without Rocky's permission, which made sense, but Kizzy was very persistent on it.
Moon had reluctantly told her what he knew, but had told her to wait for Rocky to be willing to tell the full story as it still haunts him.
Kizzy had agreed and the subject has never been brought up since then, not until Rocky had told them on his own, no prompting, no pestering from Kizzy for the information, just on his own accord.
Kaito was surprised by how harsh it was for the light-blonde, and he knew Rocky really didn't want to talk about it as it only dug up bad memories, but he felt like he had to do this.
Kizzy didn't say anything to make it worse, she didn't want to hurt him too bad, knowing how it must have been hard for him at the time to even talk about his past.
"Kaito!" Kizzy called a she walked into the bedroom, a mischievously cute smirk on her lips as she climbed into the bed to nuzzled into her mate. "What'cha thinking about?"
Kaito shook his head, his silent way of telling her not to worry about it, that it was nothing.
Kizzy just smiled as she kissed him. She never pushed him to talk when he don't want to, not wanting to overwhelm him as she knew how easily overwhelmed he gets when he speaks, mostly from the selective-mutism.
She didn't need him to speak to understand him, there was a lot of other ways that she had learned over the long time she's been with him, but there was always new ways he'd speak, but he always learned them faster than any normal person would. Like sure she likes to act dumb, but she is disturbingly smart, she just jokingly decides not to use it most of the time as it's fun to get on everyone's nerves.
He didn't know what he'd do with her, sure he has Huntress, but that Night Fury is just as unpredictable as the two wild ones, Reaper and Cicada.
Huntress does, on rather rare occasions, hunt with Reaper and Cicada, but usually prefers to hunt on her own.
Reaper is usually very aggressive towards people, and because of his unpredictable nature, is impossible to tame, especially because when you think he's tamed, he turns around and attacks.
His mate, Cicada is almost the same way, but that is because of some trauma involving humans in her life, likely making her this way.
Kaito don't mind, mostly because he doesn't try to bother the two wild Night Furies, unless they come to him.
Maxine, however, would always toss them a piece of food when setting up Club Heaven. She doesn't really seem scared of them, but that's mostly as she keeps a bit of a distance when tossing the food to them.
Kizzy has gotten close to Reaper, even getting him to rest his nose against her hand for a moment, before something sent him off, causing him to roar and snarl, before taking off. The Night Fury seemed to be wired to attack at almost all times.
"Kaito, honey, you wanna go out and eat tonight?" Kizzy asked as she shifted until she was over top of him, almost sitting on his member. "Because, Masper had told me about this restaurant them, Hyuga and NuNu went to a couple nights ago." She added, smiling brightly.
Kaito didn't know what to say, or how to explain that he wanted to stay home and watch TV all night, since him and Kizzy were off tonight.
"Please baby, can we go tonight?" Kizzy asked, lightly bouncing like an excited kid, making Kaito groan a bit. "Come on baby..." She added, continuing to bounce a little.
Kaito sighed, biting his lip the way he when his body is trying to betray him. He still didn't feel like going out tonight, wanting to stay home and rest for the night.
Kizzy didn't seem to notice what she was doing to her poor mate as she continued to light bouncing motion. She leaned down and began kissing him, trying to bribe him into reacting.
Kaito gave her a look, silently asking her 'Are you trying to either bribe me into coming, or turning me on?' as his member began to harden a little from all of her movement.
Kizzy laughed a bit into the kiss as she continued her movement, driving her mate a little crazy. "Maybe~..." She purred as she continued to kiss him, rubbing herself against him.
