I guess I'm not!

"Gon! Wait up!" I sprint to catch up to my brother. He slows his pace to my match mine among the slow people around us. I look up at him while jogging the same pace as him. "Gosh, when did you get this fast?". His dark green hair is moving with his running pace, bright amber eyes looking down at me.

"I didn't think you were so out of shape for the Hunter Exam, Y/N!".

I sighed bashfully, scratching my head "I didn't think you would really be able to get that fat ass fish!". Gon laughs, bright and loud. Despite my embarrassment, I smile up at him.

My brother always had the dream to become a Hunter since he found out about our dad. Along with Aunt Mito, I thought that he shouldn't, that he was too young, but I made a deal with him. If he actually did catch that huge ass fish (I forgot the name) then I'll come with you to the Hunter Exam.

"I still can't believe you actually caught it though." I shake my head, but hiding a smile.

A white haired boy that looks around my age jogs up to us, and I visibly tense. "Hi! What's your name?" He calls out. "I'm Gon! And this is my sister Y/N!". He points to me and I study the boy in front of me. "Call me Killua." He says.

Killua.

Huh.

Where have I heard that name?

He has spiky white hair, sharp blue eyes. Casual clothes, and is that a skateboard he's riding?

I nod at him silently.

The guy behind us, I think his name is something Oreo. He starts shouting about how Killua should be running since this is obviously an endurance test.

"Shut up, old man, the examiner just said to follow him! Go check your ears before you start bursting mine!" I snap back without turning around.

Everyone seems surprised by my attitude. "W-who's side are you on, h-huh?!" The Oreo guy says again. "Neutral. Just don't like noise." I emphasized on the word 'noise' before going up on ahead.

I hear Gon say to them, half chuckling "Sorry about her.". 

Gon and Killua catch up to me, chatting happily. After a couple minutes, I hear Gon say "Ne, Killua, do you wanna race to see who gets to the top first?". I ask quietly, almost a whisper "Can I join?" Gon, seemingly the only one that hears me replies  "Sure! Loser has to buy dinner!".

Killua blinks, surprised, as if he just noticed I was right there, but quickly hides his surprise.  "3, 2," I count down. "When did she get here?" Killua whispers to Gon. I glare at him, cracking my knuckles "You better not lose, pretty boy."

"1!".

I sprint off, leaving the boys in their dust. I quickly match my pace with the examiner, Satotz. I keep running for a couple more minutes, being the only girl in front.

After a little, we start to see light up ahead. There are shouts of cheer. I look around and spot Gon and Killua also in the front. I quickly  pull my hood down, hiding my long dark green hair.

As Satotz make it to the top, I surpass him, feet touching the top before Gon and Killua simultaneously land on the ground after me. "Yes! I won!" Killua shouts. "No, I did!" Gon shouts.

"Wait, what about Y/N?" Gon says, looking around. Killua shrugs, "She probably got lost in the back.". 

"Ahem, boys," 

I take off my hoodie, my green hair going to my waist, hands on my hips, despite how short I am compared to them.

"I believe I won.". I glare at Killua, and he glares back. Gon resorts to witnesses before a fight breaks out. "Ne ne, Satotz! Who got here first?".

"I believe it was the girl, Y/N. She's been tailing me closely.".

I smirk at them in victory. "Now you both owe me dinner!"

Killua groans, while Gon smiles "Seems like you're not out of shape after all, Y/N!".

I smile at him.

"I guess I'm not!".
