We see space before time itself existed.
Papa Smurf (narration):
"In the beginning, the universe was in perfect balance."
Four ancient magic books drift through the cosmos, glowing with immense power.
Papa Smurf (narration):
"Peace and harmony were maintained by four magical books."
The light suddenly darkens. Four evil wizards emerge from the shadows.
Papa Smurf (narration):
"But an alliance of evil wizards made it their mission to seize these books and shroud the universe in
darkness."
We see the four evil wizards standing in a circle, each holding one of the books as they perform a dark ritual.
A glowing crystal floats at the center, feeding their magic.
Suddenly, one book trembles-then breaks free.
Papa Smurf (narration):
"One of the books, known as the Jaunty Grimoire, escaped."
The Jaunty Grimoire snatches the crystal mid-air and bolts away.
Papa Smurf (narration):
"With the crystal the wizards used to fuel their evil, she fled."
We see Jaunty running through space and time, chased by dark magic. She suddenly turns and breaks the fourth wall.
Jaunty:
"That's me—cha-cha-cha!"
Behind her, the evil wizards react.
Evil Wizard #1:
"The magic book!"
Evil Wizard #2:
"Where is it?!"
Evil Wizard #3:
"Find it at once!"
Jaunty continues running until she crashes into three
Smurfs: Papa Smurf, Ken, and Ron.
Papa Smurf (narration):
"She was rescued by a group of mighty blue guardians."
Ken:
"Those evil wizards won't get you."
Papa Smurf:
"I've got her, Ron."
Ron:
"You're safe with us, little one."
Papa Smurf (narration):
"They swore to protect the magic book... for the fate of the universe depends on it."
