Inmate 47

At dusk, a red helicopter flew into the sky heading towards an island covered in mist. In the cockpit, were three guards watching over a person. Cuffed and blinded, making sure there was no escape.

Guard1
"Welcome to Nanba prison, scum. I hope you'll enjoy it here, Rei Houston."

Rei gritted their teeth.

Rei
'Enjoy it. How am I supposed to enjoy it...when they think I'm a man?! I'm a girl, damn it!'

3 days ago.

A punch echoed in the dark. Standing in the center of a lit stage was a dark skinned girl with startling white hair that reached mid back and white eyes staring down with no emotion. She was wearing a fitting tank top, and wrestling shorts. At her feet were in front of a limp body of a man with a bloody face, teeth broken.

Announcer
"Winner! Rei Houston!"

A crowd cheered and Rei eased her stance and smiled at the camera. The girls that were in the crowd were over the moon seeing that smile before Rei walked out of the arena. In the private dressing room, she removed the tank top, to reveal thick wrapping binding the chest. This wasn't a boy; it was a 16 year old girl fighting in an illegal wrestling match. Rei sighed looking at the mirror.

"Where to next?"

Soon she was in her apartment. And not a decent one at that, it was a terrible one. No bed, but there was a mattress. And on the wall was a map with red Xs crossed in specific areas. She crossed the one where the city of Rio was. She hummed in thought.

"Should I visit New York? I could use the library in Manhattan."

She sighed.

"I'm so tired."

The next day, she was at a café having breakfast. Then she took out a phone and looked through pictures. Pictures with different girls from different countries. She smiled seeing them.

'Nobody can tell whether I'm a girl or not because of my useless baggy clothes, so it's easy to enter those fights. Good money, but long hours of fighting. I never stay in one place, because I was told never to stay in one place for too long.'

She sighed.

'I wish I wonder why...why did they do this to me?'

A memory of gun shots and clashing of blades came to mind, she shook them out, got up from her seat, paid her bill and left. Later in the night, Rei had a duffle bag in hand.

"I guess I should find the next ship that will send a crate to America."

She hummed in thought as she held her chin.

"Where's the dock again?"

Suddenly and ear splitting scream came into the night. Rei looked to the side and saw it. A young girl, 10 years old possibly, was being dragged by a shadowy figure. Her white eyes turned into what looked like crystal with a dangerous glare.

Man
"Just stay still you brat!"

But he let out a shout when Rei grabbed the man's back and threw him across the street, hitting the trash cans.

Rei
"That's better."

She turned to the girl.

"Now let's-."

Hissing was all she heard when gas was sprayed in her face. Rei recoiled and jumped away rubbing her face when she saw her attacker. Someone blonde with a sickening smile with shark like teeth, blonde hair and pointed ears. Rei collapsed when she heard this stranger speak tauntingly.
