Forever Is All We Have

Tessa's POV

Tessa awoke from her blissful sleep, sighing through her nose. The arm around her waist tightened ever so slightly, Will letting her know he was awake. She felt him bury his face in her hair. 

"Good Morning." She whispered, tracing her fingers up and down his arm that encircled her waist. She could feel his strong, sculpted chest against her back.

"Tess, please shut up, go back to bed." Tessa looked at her clock.

"Will, dear dear Will, it's 9:37 in the morning. We should get up." Will groaned into her hair.  Tessa propped herself up, looking down onto Will's closed blue eyes that she hadn't seen in 83 years. She traced her knuckles over Will's cheekbone. He gave a small half-smile, he drew her down and gently kissed her. Tessa's hands cupped Will's face as the kiss deepened. Will's hands rested on her waist, trying to anchor in the kiss for as long as possible. Tessa drew back and rested her forehead on his. 

"You awake yet?"

"Oh yeah." He answered slowly opening his eyes. "How could I not be when I was awoke with a kiss?"

"Like Sleeping Beauty."

"I am quite beautiful and I was sleeping."

"Not anymore your not." Tessa sat up straight, laughed, and smacked Will lightly on the chest. She felt the strong, reassuring thrum of Will's heartbeat. She didn't wanted to draw her hand away. One of Will's hand lightly reached up to cup her face, which she leaned into; while the other ever-so-slightly rested on top of her's.

"Tess, Tess, Tess." Will smiled, "If I had to live my life again, do you know what I would do?"

"Will you're unpredictable, I wouldn't know."

"I would find you sooner, so I could love you longer. Forever isn't enough for me."

"Forever is all we have, Will." 

"I know." He replied, playing with her hair.

"So what do we do?"

"We take it one day at a time, Tess, and one day only."

Tessa smiled, gave Will a gentle kiss; "Sounds good to me."
