Emily is 15 years old and goes to Jefferson High, in Alabama. She's a member of the drama club and her boyfriend, Sky, is the Quarterback of their American Football team. which makes her the most popular girl in school. She does not care about being popular and a lot of girls gossip about her. They are all jealous of her being in a relationship with Sky. They have been dating for over three years now. Her best friend Jessica picks her up every morning and gives her a ride to school. Jessica and Emily met at the drama club. And then there is Paul who set up Sky and Emily. Paul is Sky's best friend and Emily's cousin.
Emily has a complicated home situation. She's is pretty sure she is adopted but she is scared to ask her parents, she knows that it will hurt them. Her parents got divorced last year. Her dad cheated on her mom with her aunt, Vanessa, paul now lives with her dad so that is very weird. every time she comes to visit her dad Paul is there too. Sometimes she has to remember Sky that paul is her cousin and there is nothing to be jealous of.
