rahhh first story guys hope you like it!

The lights flickered in studio 13 as 2D waited on the couch.

His foot bouncing against the floor. Murdoc was supposed to be picked up by Noodle and they should be home any minute. He missed Murdoc, really he did, but it's been nine months and life feels better without him at this point. At least that's what he told himself.

The doorknob rattled and the blue haired singer stood up, running his hands through his deep azure blue hair. There was a small click before it creaked open and Noodle was standing there with a figure behind her. Murdoc. Even though He was standing up, his foot wanted to bounce again. Noodle locked eyes with the taller boy and mouthed if he was ok. 2D nodded knowing it was just anxiety gnawing at his brain. Well what was left of his brain.

2D heard loud clicks of boot heels thud against the floor boards as Murdoc's face finally appeared in the light. He almost looked calmer, like jail put him in his place this time. He didn't look at 2D. the blue haired singer wondered if he knew about him continuing the band without Murdoc. Before he got any words out, he felt arms wrap around him tightly. It took him a few seconds to realize it was Murdoc. Why was he hugging me?

"I heard your album." 2D stiffens as he says that thinking the bassist is pissed at the boy.                   "L-listen, you know p-people get mad when artists don't release new m-m-music and I just want-" Murdoc cut him off by hugging tighter. "I liked it." What on earth was going on with Murdoc?  2D was so confused. Murdoc has never shown that he cares. During interviews for Humanz he was kind but that's just because he was high. Was he high right now?

2D had to pry Murdoc's hands from his torso to look into his eyes. His pupils looked normal, well normal for Murdoc. This feels weird. Murdoc is supposed to hate me. Even if he didn't he wouldn't go around hugging people! This isn't like him!  2D had no idea how to act so he just stood there. Holding Murdoc's face in his hands.

Murdoc pulled away because he didn't like 2D just standing there staring at him. "What's going on with you?" Murdoc asked. "Me?" 2D blinked a few times. "You're the one acting like we're best friends all of a sudden! I'm confused! You're supposed to be mean and hit me or at least act like you don't care!" Murdoc stepped back. "Stu, I've changed-" 2D didn't let him finish his sentence. "You think I'm dumb don't you? I don't believe you one bit. Nine months isn't gonna undo years worth of torment. Not for someone like you."

2D marched upstairs, leaving Murdoc and Noodle who was watching from the door. "Murdoc you know he's been through a lot." Noodle's voice cut through the silence. "I know it's just." Murdoc thought for a second "I wanted him to forgive me and I guess I'm not good enough for his kindness." Noodle wrapped his arm around his shoulder. "Just give him some time, you know he's never good with change."

2D slammed the door causing Ace to look up. "Hey D, what's wrong?" 2D looked at him causing the tears to finally fall. Ace sighs and pats the spot next to him. "Come here D." 2D sat down and leaned on Ace. "Did Murdoc give you a hard time?" 2D shook his head. "I gave him the hard time." Ace's eyes widened under his sunglasses.

"Why are you still here?" 2D questioned. "My flight got delayed for a few days." 2D looked down and wiped his tears. "Why did you give Murdoc a hard time?" The blue haired singer looked away. "He was being nice to me." Ace snickered. "You confused me."

"How do I confuse you?"

"Well first you were always like 'I wish Murdoc was nicer' or 'I wish Murdoc never hit me anymore'. He's doing those things and you blow up at him. Gotta admit, it's confusing for anyone." Ace had a point. Even if 2D didn't believe Murdoc changed, he had no right to yell at him for it. Murdoc was at least trying. 2D sighed, his head resting on Ace's shoulder. He probably should forgive Murdoc after he apologises to him but he's too tired to do that right now. Maybe tomorrow.
