Chapter 01 Kazekage Rescue Mission

At the Hidden Sand Village, at the Chunin Meeting Room, Kazeto, Mihako and Ran were already on the meeting inside the Chunin Meeting Room.

"What?! Lord Gaara has been abducted by the Akatsuki?!" Kazeto Uzumaki (16), a Chunin of the Hidden Sand Village?!"

"Affirmative."  Mihako Uchiha (16), a kunoichi from the Hidden Sand Village who is a Chunin.

"Team Kakashi from the Hidden Leaf Village are recently arrived in the Hidden Sand Village to the get intel about Lord Gaara's abduction." Ran Senju (16), a kunoichi of the Hidden Sand Village, who is also a Chunin, said.

"Then, we have to be ready, we might be soon deployed." Kazeto said.

Then, Maki (28), a female jonin of the Hidden Sand Village, showed up.

"Maki-sensei!" Ran Senju said.

"You three be ready in case if deployment will be ready." Maki said.

Kazeto nodded at his Jonin Sensei Maki, then he and his teammates Mihako and Ran also stood up, preparing themselves.

Then, the Chunin Meeting Room's door opened and Sakura Haruno, a kunoichi of the Hidden Leaf Village, showed up.

"Hey, Maki-sensei." Sakura said.

"Ah, hello!" Maki greeted Sakura.

Kazeto raised his eyebrows.

"Are you the one of the Leaf Genins who passed the Joint Chunin Exams two years ago just about a year after Naruto Uzumaki left for a 2-year-training under Jiraiya-sensei." Kazeto said.

"Actually Sakura, myself, Kazeto and Mihako were last year's Chunin Exams passer, just about a year after the Joint Chunin Exams." Ran said.

"Oh, I see." Sakura said.

Kazeto looked at Sakura with some interest.

Then, Kakashi and Naruto showed up.

"Great timing, Naruto. You just managaed to catch up with a Chunin Exams last year about a year after Sakura and your fellow alumnis from the Leaf Academy, have passed the Joint Chunin Exams. You were lucky to become a Special Chunin." Kazeto said.

"I used my shadow clones to keep holding off my continuous secret training under Jiraiya-sensei." Naruto said, scratching his head while already wore his green flak jackets.

"It's good to see you still haven't changed. You're still the same old Naruto I remember." Mihako said, grinning at the blonde shinobi.

"Not to mentioned that you three are representatives from the Hidden Leaf's three legendary noble clans." Naruto said, deadpanned.

Kazeto, Mihako, and Ran shared amused looks at Naruto's comment. It was a well-known fact that they came from prominent clans, and Naruto never missed an opportunity to remind them.

Sakura and Kakashi were both deadpanned.

"He just simply can't help it." Ran said, shaking her head.

Mihako chuckled, watching Naruto's antics with a familiar fondness. "Some things never change."

"Anyway, Lord Kankuro's at the Hidden Sand Hospital, he is in a critical condition aftee he engaged a battle against one of the two  members of the Hidden Leaf Village." Kazeto said.

Kakashi nodded in acknowledgement. "I see."

Naruto's eyes widened with concern. "What happened to Kankuro-niisan? Is he going to be alright?!"

"We weren't sure but he said that he got poisoned by a member of the Akatsuki during his encounter." Kazeto said.

"Then, we proceed to the hospital. Lady Temari is already is there." Maki said.
