It was a calm, relaxing day in the reef. The underwater plants were softly waving back and forth and Nemo and Marlin were just waking up. "Morning Marlin! Morning Elmo!" Dory said, peeking through the anemone, accidently stinging herself. "W-What?" Marlin said groggily.
"Morning Dory!" Nemo said. Nemo brushed on the anemone as he then swam out, waiting for Marlin to fully get up. "C'mon dad!" Nemo exclaimed. "I'm up, I'm up!" Marlin said, stumbling out of the anemone. "Soooo, whatcha wanna do?" Dory asked. "Well it IS a school day right?" Marlin asked. "Nope." Nemo said. "Yesterday was Friday, remember?" "Right." Marlin said.
Just then, Nemo spotted Sheldon, Pearl, and Ted's parents taking them somewhere. "Hey guys!" Nemo shouted. "Where are you going?" "School." Ted said with a sigh. "TODAY'S A SCHOOL DAY?!" Marlin exclaimed. "Yeah of course it is, why wouldn't it be funny guy?" Ted's dad said. Marlin started panicking. "COME ON NEMO TIME TO GO!" Marlin said, rushing Nemo towards school. "BYE DORY!" Nemo shouted. "Goodbye!" Dory shouted back. Marlin looked back and waved his fin quickly before swimming off.
After a few quick minutes, Marlin finally arrived, just in time too. "Alright class get quiet." Hank said. "Today we're gonna-" "HELLO THERE EXPLORORS!" Mr. Ray said, floating down from his group of other stingrays. "MR. RAY!" The class shouted. "Oh my, you all have grown so much!" Mr. Ray exclaimed. "So, who wants to go on an adventure?" "Me!" All of his classmates shouted.
"Well great then! Thank you Hank for taking care of my students while I was away!" Mr. Ray said. "Yeah yeah." Hank said, rolling his eyes. "Now c'mon explorers!" Mr. Ray exclaimed, lowering his fin for everyone to climb onto. "Bye dad!" Nemo said, swimming off with Mr. Ray. "Goodbye son!" Marlin said, waving goodbye. As Mr. Ray swam away, singing a song, Marlin swam back to his home.
"I'm back." Marlin said once he returned. "Hey Marlin!" Dory said. "So uhm, what now?" "Maybe we just chill?" Marlin suggested. "Sure!" Dory said. "Great." Marlin said, swimming back to his home.
Suddenly, the ground beneath them started to shake. "Dory?" Marlin asked. "You feel that?" "Excuse me!" Dory exclaimed. Marlin then swam up out of his house and saw a massive current washing towards him. "AHHH!" Marlin shouted. Before Marlin could dodge it, he got swept into the current, being launched miles and miles away. "MARLIN!" Dory shouted, trying to swim after him. Dory started panicking as Marlin got smaller and smaller. "I gotta get Elmo!" Dory exclaimed. She then tried to remember where Nemo's school was in order to go take him and save his father.
