chapter 1:The mess.

Me and my brother, were at school. I had a blue outfit, while he had a red one. We walked into the school, it looked normal. "This is..strange." I say "why it's a normal school?" Andy says. "I don't know. It just seems odd. I mean mom made us walk? Why would she do that?" I say. Looking scared. "Well mom did want us to come out to explore nature." Andy says. "I know, but we do explore nature!" I exclaim. "I know we do but she did want us to interact with each other." Andy says, looking at Amber. "But don't you find it strange dad wasn't home at all?" Amber says. "A little bit. But he probably had work." Andy says. "But-"
My brother says. My brother puts my hands on my shoulders. "No buts. Everything will be ok." Andy smiles at me. "Promise?" Amber says looking up at her brother. "I promise." I smile at him. "Ok. Let's do this." I chuckle. "Alrighty sister." Andy says, they walk into the school. We see miss mason. "Miss mason?" Andy says. "Oh, hi." Miss mason says she was tired. "Are you ok?" Andy asks. "Yea, I'm just tired.." miss mason says. "Oh, ok." Amber says. "Kids go into class I'll be there." Miss mason says. "Alright!" The two say before walking in they walk to Claire and Kevin. "Hey guys." Amber says. "Oh hi!" Kevin says. Smiling. "Whatcha doing?" Andy says. "Oh, we were just talking." Claire smiles. "Have you guys noticed the staff acting weird?"  Amber says. "Yea..they said some weird stuff." Claire says. "Yea. Miss mason has been acting strange, she looks so called tired." Amber says. "I know. Even Mr Adam won't speak to me." Kevin said. "Oh, really?" Andy asks. "Yea, he's been acting odd." Kevin added. "I think I have a theory." Amber says. "Huh?" Claire asks. "Either something bad is happening or it's because it's being a friend day." Amber added. "Oh. Probably." Kevin says. "Yea." They agree. The bell rings and they sit down. But miss mason doesn't enter it's jayla there sub. "Miss j? Where's miss mason?" Claire asks. "She's with mr adam." Mrs j says. "Why?" Kevin asks. "Uhm.. because they're talking." Mrs j says. "Odd." Amber mumbles to herself. "Anyways, we're learning math!" Mrs j says. "Seriously? It's being a friend day, it's supposed to be a fun day." Amber says. "I know sweetie but-" the speaker comes on. 'mrs j come to the office.' the speaker comes off. "Ok. I'll be back." Mrs j leaves. "Ok something is definitely off." Amber says. "Agreed." Claire says. "Should we go check it out?" Kevin asks. "Yes." Amber says. They sneak out, and sees people being attacked by opila bird. "What the heck?" Amber says. They hear someone approaching. "Hide!" Andy says, Amber and Andy hide under the chairs, Kevin and Claire hide under the table. Stinger Flynn comes in and spots only Kevin and Claire. He grabs them and vanishes. The mayhem stops. The 2 get out. "Oh my.." Amber says. "Oh." Andy says, they spot a teenager. "Hey.?" Amber says, the teenager looks at them. "Who are you guys?" She says. "I'm Amber. This is my brother, Andy. Who are you?" Amber says. "I'm Marie. Nice to meet you." Marie says. "What are you doing here?" Andy asks. "My sister hasn't arrived yet so I'm looking for her. What about you two?" Marie says. "We were attacked by one of the mascots but we survived." Andy adds. "You ok?" Marie says. "Yea. Maybe we should stick together, we just met but we need to stick together." Amber says. "Alright, let's look around." Marie says, the trio looks around. Andy spots a blue keycard. "Marie." Andy says. "Yea kid?" Marie says. "I found something." Andy adds. "What?" She asks. Andy takes out the blue keycard. "Hm, where did you find it?" Marie asks, Amber stares at her brother. "Right by the sign in area." Andy says. "Hm. Maybe it opens that blue door." Amber says, they look behind them. "Maybe." Marie says, she looks at Andy. "Try it kiddo." Marie says. "Alright." Andy uses the keycard to open the door. It opens revealing a drone, remote and... note. Marie takes the remote. "Hm it needs two batteries." Marie said. Amber has the note. "What does it say kid?" Amber looks at it. It says 'dear mommy, iam hiding in a room but I have to fight the monster it is the only way to make Claire like me :(' Amber looks at the handwriting. "It's Kevin's." She says. "Oh. His handwriting low-key sucks." Andy says. "He likes...my sister?" Marie said. "I guess." Amber says, she hears a 'chirp' they look and see little beak.

This thing. Andy picks it up. "Little beak!" Andy smiles, little beak flaps onto Andy's hair. "You know that thing?" Marie says. "Yes! She's one of opilas children, we like her." Amber said. "Can we take her please??!" Andy begs. "I guess." Marie says. Marie looks for batteries and finds them the trio (because little beak is sleeping on Andy's head) see the drone coming alive. "Whoa!" Andy says. "Hm." Amber mumbles. "That's cool!" Marie says. "What do we need the drone for?" Andy asks. Marie sees buttons on the wall. "Too probably open the door over there." Marie says. "Oh!" Amber says, Andy let's out a low chuckle. The drone clicks the buttons and the door opens but opila is staring at them. They walk and it disappears into the shadows. "What the actual fuck.." Marie says. "What's 'fuck'?" Amber says. "Oh! It's a word I can only use because I'm 16." Marie says. "So we can use it once we're older?" Andy asks. "Yes indeedy!" Marie says. They walk and click the light to reveal a.. playroom. "Oh..this room." Amber mumbles. "It's just a playroom?" Marie asks Amber. "No it's not..it's traumatizing." Amber asks. "How?" Marie says. "Because she broke her arm here once." Andy says. "Oh." Marie said. They walk and see they have to play a game find six eggs to get their prize. "How the hell are we supposed to find 6 eggs?" Marie says. "Well it's easy, they aren't that HARD to find." Amber says. "Sure.." Andy says. They find 5 eggs, they're struggling to find the last one. "Damn it!" Marie says. "I know." Andy says. "There's a button you think if the drone clicks it, it will give us the egg?" Amber says. "I hope." Marie says, the drone hits the button and they get the egg and feed it to opila they get the yellow keycard. Amber takes it. "Why is there just a random keycard here?" Amber says. "Who knows?" Marie says, they go into the classroom but Andy breaks the glass and uses the drone to click the button and open the grey door, there's a paper and a hammer. Marie takes the hammer. Andy reads the note it says 'distraction at 1' "what?" Andy says. "That's strange." Marie says, they go back into the playroom and break the planks they enter a ball pit it's empty. "What?" Marie says. "I don't remember it being empty.." Andy said. "Same." Amber added. Marie sees a yellow button with an arrow so she clicks it then a sofa comes. She clicks it. "Whoa!" Amber sees a sofa, they sit on it. Andy presses the button and they go to the other side. Andy picks up the note on the floor it says 'i alone I want to play with the hole bird but everyone left me :( everyone have a party without meeeeeee miss mason see me but go I am scared because is loud and my friends scream in it but bird is funny' "that doesn't make sense." Marie says. "Yea." Amber says. "Hm.." Andy says. They see a puzzle that says 'what was my color?' "great. Puzzles." Marie says. "What's wrong with puzzles?" Amber asks. "I hate them." Marie says. "Sam's to be honest." Andy says, they do the puzzle and the grey door opens Marie picks up the yellowish keycard "ha! We got som-" she spots opila. "Fuck." The 3 get to the edge. Little beak touches the button and an walkway comes they get on it and jump to the other side Marie touches the emergency stop button and it makes the walkway disappear and make opila fall in the abyss. "Holy God!" The 3 say. The trio leaves and enters the office it's empty. They spot blood. "Ewugh." Amber says. Marie picks up a passport. It says not saying all that. But it Andy uses the drone and presses the 3 buttons then a elevator comes. "Good job Larry!" Andy says. "Larry?" Amber says. "I named it." Andy says. "Oh." Marie says, the 3 get on the elevator Marie touches the button and it goes down. "What now?" Amber asks. "We could..chat." Marie says. "Alright that sounds ok." Andy says they chat but the elevator stops. "Uhm.." Marie mumbles. They hear a moan. It sounds non-human. Then red lights go off. "OH FUCK." Marie says the siblings hold on each other. They see jumbo Josh's hand grabbing the handles then..the elevator falls and they crash
