I'm going to start by saying that this is NOT like any Creatures of Sonaria story you've ever read. This is from the perspective of humans, and I am making up a TON of the lore and shit inside the story to make it work. This is also NOT primarily a CoS fic, as (especially later in the series) most of the action will be outside of Sonaria and in the actual human world. If this is not what you came for, feel free to leave! If it is, welcome aboard!
Another note: the main romances in this story are F/M, but there will be references to M/M relationships later on and if you are uncomfortable with that for any reason, don't feel guilty clicking off. It won't be a major part of the story.
Other potential trigger warnings could be violence (via creature attacks or just humans being their sucky selves), swearing, dirty jokes, etc. I will put trigger warnings in the notes if there are any and will also update the tags as needed.
One more thing before we start, a LOT of this story revolves around music (ESPECIALLY LATER IN THE SERIES), as the main characters all play a musical instrument, and the protagonists literally bond over writing a song together. I claim NO ownership over ANY of the songs mentioned, but please listen to them if you know what they are, it'll make the experience much better!
