Chapter 5
Liam's POV
After I saw Delilah, I did t know what to say. A large rush of guilt just overwhelmed me as she ranted on. I couldn't help but feel so bad for my selfishness that caused me to leave. I couldn't stay. It would have just brought more trouble upon my family if I had stayed. I never thought I would see my sister or mum again. But I guess time was simply too long for the meeting to become inevitable. The most important thing is though that I hurt them. I did that. And to the people that I care most about in the world. I could never forgive myself for what I have done.
Harry's POV
I can't believe what Liam did to his sister and mum. I mean I guess we all left out families to live this lifestyle but not the way he did. He wasn't planning on ever seeing them again if he had the choice. When I saw the girl collapse, it broke something inside of me. I could never hurt someone like that. I never would WANT to hurt someone like that. I couldn't help but to comfort Liam's sister while this was happening because I too have sister. When she plopped down on the couch I felt as if I needed to comfort her. She needed someone right now and whether she likes it or not, that someone would be me. I decided to just introduce myself and just do the only thing I could think of: hug her. Comfort her. Because that's what she needed and I would be there for her.
"So what's your name, love?"
"Delilah. But if you would like, you can call me Lily or Delia (dee-lee-yuh) really whatever you would like," she said with a clear glint of happiness shining through.
"That name is very lovely and suits you perfectly. I dot know you but if you need someone to talk to, here's my number," I attempted to say as smoothly as possible. I handed her a piece of paper that she put into the pocket of her shorts. I got up off the couch and offered my hand to her. She seemed hesitant but quickly took it once she was sure of herself.
"Where are we going?" She asked.
"To get away."
