Chapter 10
It has been days of jail for Ross. Cheryl and Ella had been too over protective for the past few days. He wouldn't be allowed to go out, or do anything that'll tire him. And Ross is starting to worry about his concert, since he hasn't rehearsed anything yet. Not only that, but his heart aches everytime he remembers his siblings.
"Hey," Ella suddenly makes her way into the room, with a tray of food, medicine and a glass of water.
"I thought you wanted to be an architect, not a nurse." Ross retorted.
"Hahaha."
"You need to work on your fake laugh." Ross says, getting out of bed.
"Whatever. Here's your breakfast. And don't forget your medicine." Ella says as she places the tray on the table besides the bed.
Ross doesn't reply, still lost in his own thoughts.
"Are you alright?" Ella moves closer to him.
"Locked in for four days, not allowed to do anything I want? I'm totally fine." Ross says sarcastically.
Ella sighs. "You know it's for your own good right Shor."
Ross glares at her, questioning Ella's words. Ross hates it when he's called by his second real name. It just reminds him of the past.
"S-sorry." Ella shutters.
There was a few seconds of silence. Ella slowly went near Ross, hugging him from behind.
"We're sorry that you have to go through this. Ross, we're doing this because we love you. I, love you." Ella whispers.
Ross stays quiet, still thinking of a reply. Ross probably didn't get what Ella was trying to tell him. What's new, anyway?
"If you guys really love me, you'd let me out of this prison." Ross says loudly.
Ella takes a deep breath, and decides to end the conversation than to go through with this nonsense.
"Call me when you need me." Ella says, walking out of the room.
Ross was still for a few seconds. Then, he skitters to his closet and pulls out a bag full of clothes and his other things.
"Bea," Ross says as Bea picks up.
("Yes?") She asks.
"I'm on my way there. Is the condo ready by the way?" Ross says as he puts on a sweatshirt and ripped jeans.
("Yes it is. I'll be in the lobby waiting,")
"Okay. Bye." Ross hangs up.
Then, he puts on his converse, and grabs his things. But before completely leaving, he leaves a piece of paper with a note on his bed.
"Sorry... I have no choice." Ross says aloud.
He quietly opens the window beside his bed. Then, Ross carefully makes it on the roof. With all his balance, he makes it to the ladder. He climbs down and tries his best not to get caught.
Ross was in their garden now, so he jumped over the fence and made it to the street. In no time, a cab passed by and he was on his way.

"Ugh we need a freakin' drummer!" Rydel stressfully pulls her hair.
"Don't lose hope man." Rocky says, testing the guitar in his hand.
They were at an instrument shop right now. They didn't plan to buy anything really, but they got attracted to the shop and went window shopping.
"Yeah, calm down." Riker agrees, looking at the price of the guitar. "Woah! This is too expensive Rocky, put it down. It costs your life," The two goof around.
"Ugh!" Rydel irritatedly walks away from her weirdo brothers.
She walked towards no specific direction. Then, Rydel bumps into a brown-haired guy. She accidentally throws her things on the floor, including the guy's things.
"Watch it!" Rydel says, turning red.
"Woah, you're on your period or something?" The guy laughs.
"Wow. What a gentleman. Now help me up!" She grumbles.
"No can do..." The guy grabs his drumsticks that fell on the ground, and walks right passed Rydel.
Before Rydel completely turned into flaming red, she realized something.
"H-hey wait!" Rydel gets up, chasing him.
"What?" The guy hesitantly stops walking.
"You play drums?" Rydel smiles. Well, atleast she tried.
"Is that a crime?" He asks, shocked.
Rydel sighs. "Can you stop being so sarcastic? I'm serious. We're looking for a drummer."
"Oh, so you're just gonna hire a stranger with drumsticks that you bumped into?" He says.
".... Yeah?"
"Awesome. I was looking for something to do besides nothing. I'm Ellington." Ellington offers his hand.
"Rydel. Wait, before anything, how do I know you're a good drummer?" She raises her eyebrow.
"Never under estimate a brown-haired guy. You'll see." Ellington says.
"Okay then. I'll introduce you to my brothers. Then, lets talk things out." Rydel says, dragging Ellington with her.
"Woahh... Okay."

"Mom!!!" Ella shouts, running downstairs.
"What's wrong?" Cheryl asks, worried.
Ella stays frozen for a second, then shows a piece of paper in her hands. It looked like she was about to cry.
"What is that?" Cheryl moves forward, taking the paper.
Mom, Ell, Ella.
Guys. Im sorry that I have to leave. But this isn't forever, I'll be back after the concert, I promise. I just have to do this. Sorry to let you down. I appreciate that you guys care for me and that you want to protect me, but what's the sense of living if you cant live your life to the fullest? Dont worry, i'll take care of myself. Take care of yourselves too.
-Ross
Cheryl's forehead creased in disbelief. "He's gonna hurt himself. He has a weak heart, he can't do this!"
Ella walks closer to her mom, embracing her. "I trust him mom. I know he won't."
Cheryl shakes her head, taking her phone. "We have to find him."
"Mom, he said he'll be back after the concert. Don't you trust him?" Ella says.
Cheryl slowly puts down her phone. "You're right. We were too tight on him. Let's just hope he's fine."
