Eywa let her connection with Kiri linger, giggling at her poor daughter's failed attempts at figuring out her destiny. It was simple if she looked. Kiri was her direct connection to the People and her eyes on the ground. Her experiment with Spider worked wonderfully. And every time he connected, she'd continue to change him slowly. He would always need her mycelium, but he would be blue one day. Would be tall. Would really be of the People. She could not wait!
Ah, and this is why she lingered! Kiri connected her Kuru to the Tsa'hìk of the Ash People, someone who has been avoiding her for far too long. She was of Eywa. She was her child. She could not avoid her mother forever.
Holding a connection to Varang, the fire Tsa'hìk, Eywa directed the Mangkwan Ikrans that had lost their riders to follow behind Varang. She tasked them to carry tree fruit and Atokirina towards the Mangkwan home, dropping them at intervals until only one Ikran had a fruit and Atokirina left. She told the Ikran to bury it under the Tsa'hìk's tent.
With her seeds planted, she only had to wait. And be very sneaky.
It would not take long to connect the roots and the mycelium into one long underground rope. She just had to convince the tree seeds to stay buried. Feeding them with the mycelium will be easy, and they will listen.
What a wonderful plan she has. She cannot wait to see it blossom!
