Background Information about each species in this book (Angels + Demons) as well as some traditions:
1.) An angels wing colour depends on what type of person they are, this is the same with a demons tail characteristics.
2.) Demons have a heightened sense of hearing
3.) Both angels and demons have the ability to fly except demons have the ability to hide their wings whenever they want and angels do not
4.) Female demons have curly horns that go outwards at the sides of their heads while male demons have wavy horns that go upwards on their foreheads. Demons can also regenerate their wings and tails but not their horns.
5.) Angels are born with the ability to talk telepathically with one another
6.) All angels have light based powers and all demons have dark based powers
7.) An angel can still fly if one or both of their wings have been chopped off, when they attempt to take flight an outline of what the wing looked like, shimmering in the colour that their wing or wings were appears in the place where the wing would have been, allowing them to soar through the sky however this only lasts while they are in the air.
8.) Younger demons had fun by going into the angel kingdom and attacking random buildings, they tend to do this yearly and and adults turn a blind eye. The rulers of each kingdom know about this and have tried putting a stop to it countless times however the younger demons are defiant and refuse to stop, even finding ways to sneak past the barriers that had been put in place to keep them from doing so.
9.) Because of the mass number of killings there were from the younger demons killing attacking the angels, there is now a permanent barrier that prevents demons and angels from traveling between kingdoms, this is what sparked a ton of rumours on both sides that made each species dislike the other, each thinking the other did something to their species that caused the barrier to go up.
10.) The members of the royal family in each kingdom get matching sun and moon tattoos that are chosen by the current rulers, for example: the oldest heir of the angel kingdom would have a matching tattoo with the oldest heir of the demon kingdom, second heir of the angel kingdom would have a matching tattoo with the second heir of the demon kingdom, third heir of the angel kingdom would have a matching tattoo with the third heir of the demon kingdom and so on.
11.) In both kingdoms, the heirs to the thrown are not determined by age, if there are multiple heirs, those who are old enough to rule decide among themselves and if they cannot agree they are to compete in a series of challenges, with the winner becoming the next ruler.
12.) The ages of 7-10 in this world are when the people gain the maturity of 13-15 year olds in spirit however their bodies remain child like and their maturity levels advance normally again once they look like the age that they think like.
13.) Members of the royal family in Libirtia are cursed to alwasys tell the truth until they are married.
