PROLOGUE

INT. THE HALL OF COSMIC MEMORIES - NIGHT (CENTURIES AGO)

The air hums with forgotten power. Elder KAIROS, a man whose skin is like ancient parchment and whose eyes hold the light of a thousand suns, kneels before a gigantic, fractured ORB. This isn't just an orb; it's a living map, showing glowing constellations that represent the "Lumina"-humans born with fragments of cosmic light. Today, most of the lights on the map are dim, some entirely extinguished.

Shadows dance at the edges of the vast, circular chamber. Runes carved into the obsidian walls shimmer faintly. Kairos holds his trembling hands out, channeling what remains of his own Lumina power into the orb. He's trying to rekindle a fading star.

KAIROS: (Whispering, voice strained) The stars... they are going out. Too fast. The Great Dark... it comes.

A SHADOW, impossibly tall and gaunt, detaches itself from the deeper darkness. It wears a crown of jagged obsidian. This is THE INQUISITOR, his face a skeletal mask, his eyes pits of pure void. He carries a twisted staff that seems to absorb all ambient light.

INQUISITOR: (Voice like crumbling stone) It is not the Great Dark, old man. It is the Great Silence. A mercy. Your 'light' only prolonged the agony.

KAIROS: (Spitting) The light is life! You seek to snuff out the very essence of creation!
