PROLOGUE

“Daddy, wag mo naman pong Gawin Sakin to! I know it's my fault but it isn't right for you to ground me and worst you want me to stay at the hacienda. You know how creepy doon.” pag mamakaawa ko Kay daddy. Nalaman Kasi ni Dad na I'm skipping my classes and every night nasa club ako. “Dad Hindi ko na po uulitin, please!” begging he would let it pass. But, Dad is Dad.

“You heard me Gabriela! Go back to your room and pack your things.” he said then left me.

I'm so annoyed like what the! Hindi naman ako mag gaganito kung di Sila palaging busy ni mommy. They are always busy with their work! Na para bang Wala Silang anak na Kailangan ng atensyon ng magulang.

I'm here in my room na packing my things Kasi si Dad Ang mag hahatid Sakin Doon. Ayaw pa naman ni Dad ng late. He's so impatient.

I'm Gabriela Luriel Sabasco, 18 years old first year college. When I was in highschool house-school lang ako nun like Hindi ako mahilig mag gala gala but when I got to college, I found out that my boyfriend for 4 years Este ex-boyfriend cheated on me with my classmate, dun na ako natutong mag bar and all. Parang nakalabas ako sa comfort zone ko and sa Ngayon heto at nadakip ni Dad. I don't know why umabot ako sa ganito. Maybe I loved my ex so much before Kaya parang Wala na akong pakialam sa Mundo.

I'm here in the van with Dad. Wala kaming pansinan and Naka tingin lang ako sa bintana ng sasakyan. I felt guilty I know that Dad wants to teach me a lesson but bakit sa hacienda pa! Dad knows na ayaw ko Doon. That Hacienda is a nightmare. Maganda sya at malinis, but the memories were urghhhh! I don't wanna remember. I put my ear pods on and listen to music. Sa sobrang tulala ko Hindi ko na namalayan na nakatulog na ako and Dad tapped me on to wake me up. Pagmulat ko Dad was looking at me with guilt but I don't wanna name it. But deep inside I was praying dad would back off but Dad is Dad as always. Nauna na syang bumaba and pumasok sa Bahay carrying my luggage. I followed him inside and was still amazed at the design of the house. Wala paring pinagkaiba. Ito parin ang childhood house ko. I let dad put my things in my room and waited for him here on the ground floor.

“So, I hope this will be your lesson.” dad says and passes me.

“Dad, I know I'm wrong but you know why I hated to be here. Please, iba nalang Ang I ground mo Sakin dad.” looking at him while crying. But he just look me in my eyes.

“You listen to me!” then he left.

I was  crying while looking at his back. Why does he need to be harsh on me.

I'm mad at him!

I looked at the house and the memories gave me horrors.
