Once back in 2018 parents asked me and my older brother to burn some boxes by the bush line/woods we just call it the bush
I'm indigenous and live in the rez (an old Indian reservation) very urban sometimes, you see a lot of things, jibbers (our version crackheads), point is it's urban, there's a road and
Think it was already dark out, I was 8 at the time
So we start burning boxes get through a dozen of them, watching and adding boxes slowly trying to not let it get to big
When there's this whistle from across the road, like not a bird chirp thingy, more... distinct brother didn't pay much attention till
"Francis!"
Heard my brother's voice call my name sounded distant though like coming from the power grounds
"You say something?" I asked looking over to my brother holding a box in one hand, lighter in the other.
"Deet!"
This time we both heard it, (that's my nickname) brothers voice once more calling out across the road from the powwow grounds
We didn't move simply because what we were told case such thing ever happened, just shut up and pretend nothing happened.
My brother was following that, me? My dumbass looked in the direct area of that voice, around the corner of the road cutting through the powwow area, where the bunch of brush and shit just past it, swear to God saw something move, like distinctive shape of head, and these bushes are hard to look over there like 10 feet.
Was dark out still but the fire gave me a little help making it out
This thing calling out was easily 12 maybe 13 feet in height, tall and thin, just then it stopped once I caught sight of it or at least that's what I thought as I could hear some engine rev cutting through the grounds
One minute i hear that engine next my brother's Sprinting back to the house fucking ass hat left me to run after him, we made it back just fine
But from what I've heard it's somewhat normal for people in the rez to have such experiences
(Why am I telling you this? Shi idk vro)
