A New Beginning

The Proposal Part 1

It was a lovely day and Nick had just gotten back from ring shopping. Today was the day that he was going to propose to her. He was now on his way to Judy's house, as soon as he, arrived he knocked on the door. Shaye got up from the couch and made her way to the front door, Nick quickly slipped the ring box into his pocket. A few seconds later Shaye opened the door."Oh hi Shaye where's Judy? wondered Nick."She's out getting groceries she should be back shortly why do you need her? Shaye asked."Yes i'm taking her out an a romantic outing and proposing to her,"explained Nick."Oh my G*d no way you're finally gonna ask her, oh Nick that's wonderful!"said Shaye excitedly. Nick took the box out of his pocket and opened it up."Shaye what do you think of the the ring? Nick asked."Oh Nick it's beautiful Judy will love it she's so lucky to have a guy like you,"spoke Shaye."Yes she is,"responded Nick. Nick closed the ring box and put it back into his pocket. Five minutes later there was the sound of a door opening."Hey Carrots how was your day? asked Nick," Oh hi sweetheart it was good I guess what brings you here? wondered Judy. "Well honey bun i'm taking you out on a little outing,  just the two of us,"explained Nick."Right now, what about the groceries,"wondered Judy."Don't worry about it sweetheart Shaye will put them away," explained Nick."Yes I will now go on you two have a nice time,"said Shaye waving goodbye. So Nick and Judy got into the car and drove off. 

Nick and Judy are now on their way to the park.......

"Where are we going,"asked Judy."It's a surprise sweetheart,"spoke Nick."Remember the day we first met."mentioned Judy."Yes I remember sweetheart, remember our first date I took you to my favorite place,"spoke Nick."Oh yeah the park and we had a picnic lunch,"responded Judy."Yes we sure did and boy was it good,"replied Nick."Well honey bun we're here,"said Nick. 

They have  now arrived at the park......

"Where are we? wondered Judy."See for yourself sweetheart."spoke Nick."Oh my G*d we're at the park where you took me on my first date,"responded Judy."Yes sweetheart now let's go for a nice walk,"smiled Nick. So the two of them spent a nice time walking around the trails. As they were walking Nick suddenly stopped, are you alright sweetheart wondered Judy."Yes honey bun i'm fine now I want you to close your eyes I have a surprise for you carrots spoke Nick."So Judy closed her eyes"what is it love? asked Judy with her eyes closed. You'll see,"responded Nick. As Judy had her eyes closed he grabbed the ring out of his pocket, put it behind his back and knelt down on one knee."Ok carrots you can open your eyes now," spoke Nick. So Judy opens her eyes. He grabs Judy's hand and begins to speak."Judy sweetheart I love you, and want to spend the rest of my life with you, he then takes the ring box from behind his back holds it in front of his paws and opens it up Judith Laverne Hopps will you marry me,"said Nick speaking softly looking her in the eyes. "Immediately Judy's eyes filled with tears she happily responded."Yes Nicholas Piberius Wilde," said Judy in shock crying tears of joy. Nick then places the ring on her finger. "Oh Nick it's so beautiful," spoke Judy who was still crying happily. The two of them then happily kiss each other's lips, then make their way back to the car.

 Back at Judy's house......

"Judy walks in the door feeling very excited as she's taking her shoes and head warmer off. Shaye guess what you'll never believe what happened, Nick proposed to me, i'm finally engaged! said Judy happily jumping with joy."Oh Judy i'm so happy for you guys, you two will make a great couple,"spoke Shaye."Yes we will, Shaye i'd like you to be my maid of honor." responded Judy."No way seriously! oh Judy thank-you your the most wonderful friend in the world,"said Shaye giving Judy a hug. As Nick was hanging up his jacket and taking off his shoes, Judy decides to call her parents, she can't wait to tell them the exciting news, so she makes her way to the bedroom and closes the door. 

 In the bedroom.....

She takes out her cell phone goes under her contacts and dials mom and dad'. "Immediately the phone starts to ring  and dads face appears."Hey Jude the dude what's up? spoke Stu Hopps."Oh hi dad is mom there I need to talk to the both of you I have something very important to say you,"spoke Judy."Ok sweetheart she's in the garden i'll go get her,"said Stu."Ok thanks dad," responded Judy."Hey Bonnie sweetums it's Judy she has something very important to tell us,"explained Stu."Ok Stu i'm coming."responded Bonnie Hopps."Hey sweetheart how are you doing? asked Bonnie."I'm doing great! something amazing just happened to me today,"spoke Judy happily. "Hey sweetheart you sound so happy spoke Bonnie,"yeah happier than usual and your blushing,"spoke Stu."Well I have something very important to tell you guys,"spoke Judy. "You'll never guess what happened today, Nick took me out on a romantic outing to the park and well ... Judy hesitates and immediately starts to cry."What's wrong kiddo? wondered Stu."Oh nothing dad these are tears of joy i'm engaged! cried Judy happily."Oh my gosh sweetie that's wonderful! said Bonnie sounding excited."Yeah that's great news kiddo we're so happy for you, I always knew you two were meant for each other, oh here come the waterworks,"spoke Stu starting to cry."Dad please your embarrassing me,"spoke Judy."Well sweetie can you show us the ring,"we'd love to see it,"asked Bonnie."Ok hold on,"a sec,"said Judy. Judy holds her hand up in front of the camera."Oh sweetie it's so beautiful,"spoke Bonnie ."Yes your mother's right that is the most beautiful ring i've ever seen and very shiny to,"responded Stu smiling."Ok well i'm gonna go now i'll let you know when the wedding is," Ok sweetIe great, let me know when you have a free day and i'll take you wedding dress shopping,"Mentioned Bonnie."I'm avaIlable Next Friday, Nick is going to be out all day with a friend,"explained Judy."Alright great see ya Friday then, love you sweetie, yeah love you to kiddo."Yeah love you guys to,"spoke Judy blowing her parents a kiss. She then ends the video call, and makes her way out of the bedroom. 

"It's about time honey bun, I would love it if you spent the evening with me I just want to spend time with my beautiful fiance tonight and have pizza and a movie night with you, how does that sound darling?."Oh Nick babe i'd love to,"spoke Judy giving Nick a kiss on the lips. So that's exactly what they did the two of them had a movie night with pizza and enjoyed each other's company, while Shaye stayed in her room for the evening.
