Sodor's Darkest Hour

Episode 1 - Before The Darkness

(the scene opens to several different shots showing what the island of Sodor is and then later discuses what's happening)

Hello, my name is teddy Smich, but my friends call me ted, I work on railway between England and the Isle of man. The place is called the Sodor and it's a safe haven for all engines alike, steam or diesel no matter the size, it's beautiful filled with forests and beaches. all of the engines are really kind, well most of them anyways, and we all get along pretty well.

There are a lot of famous engines from the books that live on the railway, and I happen to work along one of these engines. his name is Henry and is one of the strongest engines on Sodor. me and him have a lot in common actually, we both enjoy our quiet time and love nature too. Although we can be grumpy but that's just how we are.

Enough about that, this wasn't the reason I made this journal in the first place, strange things have been happening around Sodor. One day when me and henry went to visit the forest some of the trees look dry, it was almost like their color was drained away. We also notice some of the animals seemed to be dying so we rushed to Wellsworth to call someone that could help the animals. when we next visited the place some of the trees and animals were gone, the place looked somewhat bare. we've also noticed that some engines have been vanishing and appearing looking dull and lifeless. I don't know what's going on but it can't be good that's for sure. I'll keep this in henrys cab in case something else happen.

(next scene explains something is going on with Edward and a falling out with ted and henry)

Like I said in case something else happen I will write it down, and something did happen and it was the creepiest thing ever.

One day when henry and I arrived at wellsworth we met up with Edward ready to take his passenger train. Henry asked him if anything felt weird today, Edward said nothing and seemed to be ignoring him. Henry then asked him if he was even listening to him, still he just idol there, Henry then asked if he was ok and finally Edward said in a weirdly demonic tone "yes henry I'm doing great today." Henry and I were in disbelief as Edward puffed away. I then notice he was puffing out some black steam out of his funnel and then notice he had no driver or fireman.

Later when the day was over the head back to Tidmouth sheds after a long day of work. We then saw Edward at the sheds with the rest of the engines. we then backed into our birth and question Edward what was wrong with him during wellsworth. Edward was confused on what he meant as was at brendam helping boco with one of bill and bens mishaps. Henry then said he saw you buffing black smoke and with no driver or fireman. He then called out his driver and fireman if they were with them at brendam and they agreed he was. All the engines then looked at henry if he was crazy as Gordon then said if he was going crazy after his rebuild. henry then angerly said he's telling the truth and asked me to back him up but, I didn't want to seem crazy, so I disagree with him and said I don't what I saw. I could tell henry was upset about this and then hiss steam at me and then fell asleep. I then went back home to bed feeling bad hoping I could amend with henry tomorrow.
