Derry, Maine. 1962
3rd POV
Today had been like any other school day besides being tormented by shape shifting clown that wants to eat them, it was a Friday so the weekend was just a few hours away. Ronnie had met up with Will and Rich to ride to school together per usual and it was a quiet morning if you ignored Rich's constant talking, it was a breeze to get to school. They all parked their bikes together by the bike locks making sure to remember the pins and walking inside, Ronnie got weird stares as well at Rich and Will but her's were different especially since everyone thought of her dad as a kid killer but that wasn't true and she knew it all too well.
'Hey Lilly! Over here!'
Rich said waving his hand with a small jump as they stood by Rich and Will's lockers, she turned around with a soft expression on her face before walking over with her books held tightly against her chest not really sparing a glance towards Ronnie which made her smile fade away and she looked back to Will who gave her a questioning look but didn't push anything.
'Hey guys, sorry it's been a rough morning.'
Lilly said with her usual quiet voice that seemed just a bit more happy when she was around them, her eyes glanced at Rich and Will before sending a small look over to Ronnie before looking back over at the boys with a slight shrug of her shoulders.
'Don't worry about it, just glad you're okay.'
Will responded with a sweet smile on his face that they all adored even without his knowledge of knowing, Rich gave a little 'yeah' as he nodded. Ronnie hadn't really heard anything the boys had to say but she heard what Lilly had said, she always listened when she didn't talk or have anything to say. Ronnie had her eyes locked on Lilly for a few hot minutes before looking back at Will, she would be lying if she told herself it didn't annoy her that Lilly wouldn't pay her any attention but she'll continue to tell herself she's not.
Timeskip to lunch !!
3rd POV
Lilly had gotten invited to have lunch with Marge her childhood best friend so she agreed hoping for the best, they both say across from each other and Marge talked about how she didn't wanna lose Lilly and that she wished they could still stay friends, to which Lilly responded with that kind heart of her's saying they could.
Ronnie sat across from Rich and Will who sat next to each other they all engaged in a conversation except for Ronnie, her focus was stuck on Lilly as she watched her talk and eat lunch with Marge, she felt this uneasy tug in her chest so she took a deep breath in and released it trying to calm herself down.
Lilly had looked over at Ronnie once to which she cracked a small smile on her face for Lilly but she just looked away making her awfully confused and frustrated, Lilly had always talked to Ronnie ever since they made up and she didn't know why she was acting so strange all of a sudden with her. In all general Ronnie had been experiencing some unusual feelings towards the girl which she of course tried to shrug it off and ignore but that same feeling that just couldn't be explained always creeped back into her head like a disease, little did she know Lilly has a similar situation except Lilly knows exactly what that feeling is and is trying to contain how much she wants Ronnie to be her's. They both knew deep down that girl's couldn't be together or be in love with one another, that's a forbid fact that everyone knew and it was the early 60's which made everything even worse then it already was. Not only are they both in love with each other but Will has a big crush on Ronnie, they are being hunted and prayed on by a shape shifting clown, and can barely even sleep at night.
