YOU STEPPED INTO THE TAXI, although something about it felt off. The creeping sensation was evident— It was more like countless eyes were watching you. Watching every move you do. Seriously, are you paranoid? You caught the driver watching you through the rearview mirror before he smiled faintly. He looked unfamiliar, and yet, it felt like your heart tightened as if it had seen him somewhere before.

You merely shrugged it off.

The ride was quiet, the hum of the engine blending with the muted rhythm of Tokyo outside. A few minutes later, the car slowed to a stop. "We're here, ma'am," the driver said politely. "Please pay the fare." You handed over the money, about to step out, when his voice stopped you.

"It's strange, isn't it?" he said lightly, his tone almost knowing. "How fate works... how everything can change in an instant."

The words made you froze in place. There was something about the way he said fate that sent a chill through you. He wasn't just any driver. You didn't know how, but you could feel it. Perhaps, your instincts says so.

Your eyes narrowed. "I don't know who the hell you are," you said sharply, "But do me a favor and fuck off."

You slammed the door and walked away.

The cold air hit you like a slap in the face, and that's where you noticed that you were dropped in different location. You witnessed a teenage man punched the guy in the face, as more members are coming at him, throwing a punch but failed miserably.

A man with a tattoo in his head, his hair was shaved closely on both sides, leaving only a long, pale blond top section that he gathers into a neat braid trailing down his back. There was a bold dragon tattoo inked across the left side of his scalp— the ink is sharp and black, curling like fire and shadow from his temple to behind his ear. He was wearing a jacket, but his face was bruised from fighting.

"I need to leave." You muttered.

Before you had the chance to leave, sadly, fate gets to decide of your life. Ken Ryuguji mentioned your name.

"Y/n...?"

"How disappointing." The man with a tattoo on his body smirked. "Is this all the invincible Mikey is made off?!" He shouted, mocking the said guy.

Everyone in the room was slightly shocked when the blond boy just sighed. "That hit I took from you was me punishing myself." He stated.

"Huh?"

"..."

Then suddenly, Mikey kicked Taiju— one clean and precise arc of his leg, the kind that didn't need strength to be terrifying because it carried intent. Taiju didn't even have time to register the movement. The impact landed against the side of his skull, the sound sharp and final— like it was a bat cracking against concrete.

For a split second, it was as if the world paused.

"Boss!!!" Inui yelled.

"So that's the invincible Mikey!" Kokonoi appeared to be in disbelief, his eyes widening as if he couldn't quite process what had just happened. "Taiju taken down in one hit...?"

"Bullshit!!"

"He just one-shot him..."

"That was awesome, Mikey-kun!"

"What a beast!"

"You had me going for a minute there."

"I decided..." Mikey huffed. "To go riding with Baji and my brother every Christmas."
