Chapter 1

Introduction of characters for this chapter:
Christina (aka Chrissy)- Riley's stay at home mom.
Joe- Riley's fun (always joking) dad.
Ryan- Riley's 16 year old brother, who plays a lot of video games.
Chris and Josh- Riley's 9 year old twin brothers.

15 year old Riley sat on the couch watching tv. "Rye! Dinner!" yelled her 16 year old brother, Ryan. "Coming!" She yelled back. She turned off the television and walked into the kitchen and sat herself down. Riley was extremely excited because tomorrow was her last day of school before summer break.

"What's for dinner mom?" Riley asked as her mom walked over to the table. "I ordered a pizza." She said as she put the pizza on the table.

"Yay! Pizza!" Yelled a voice from the basement. *Thump,Thump* Next thing she knew her two younger brothers, Josh and Chris came running into the room, and plopped into two chairs. They were twins, 9 years of age, and very alike. "Can we eat yet?" asked Chris. "Yeah, and do we have iced tea?" asked Josh. "We're going to wait for your father and brother, boys." The four all waited patiently, well the two of them- Josh and Chris were arm wrestling and goofing off the whole time. "Hey guys! I'm home. " said a voice, from the hallway. "Dad!!" Chris jumped up.

"Can we eat now, huh mom, can we?" whined Josh. "Once Ryan comes down." answered their mother. "Ryan, time for dinner!" called their mother. Ryan came barreling down the steps, and plopped into an empty seat. "No one wonders where Josh and Chris get it from." joked their dad. Riley chuckled. "Let's pray." said their father. They all prayed and started eating. "Mom, do we have iced tea?" asked Chris. "Yeah, it's an the refrigerator." she answered. He jumped up and poured it into a glass.

After dinner they cleaned up, and watched a movie. "Mom, can we watch finding nemo?" asked Josh. "Yeah we haven't watched that in a while." she said.

"Oh, mom can I get some snacks?" asked Riley. "Sure honey" she answered. Minutes later Riley came in with a bowl of popcorn and a pack of twizlers. "Pass me the twizlers!" Chris demanded. "Um, can you say that a little nicer?" asked Riley. "Can you please pass me the twizlers?" Chris mockingly asked. Riley tossed the twizlers across the room.

After the movie Chris and Josh went to bed, Ryan went to play some video game, Riley's parents went in their bedroom and got ready for bed and talked, and Riley went up to her room.

Riley POV
I get up stairs and I'm not tired, so I pull out my phone and see a text, it's from Samuel:

Samuel:
"Hey what's up?"
Riley:
          "Nothing much. I can't sleep..."
Samule:
"Uh, that's fun.."
"You excited?"
Riley:
                  "For what? Lol"
Samuel:
"Last day of school!"
Riley:
                  "Oh, yeah! Lol"
Samuel:
"Lol"
Riley:
              "I'm gonna go to bed. Night!"
Samuel:
"Night."

I go into the bathroom and put on a pair of sweat pants and a T-shirt. I come into my room turn out the lights, and cuddle up in my bed.
