LIFE WAS GOOD, ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. molly russo loved her job, her newly-titled fiancé, and especially loved the fact that she got to work with said fiancé on the day shift at the pittsburgh trauma medical centre.

FRANK LANGDON was the perfect fiancé. he was smart, caring, and always made sure to find time after their draining to show molly some love, whether it be cuddled up in bed or watching some nineties sitcom reruns on TV. it was a nice break away from how they spent work borderline ignoring each other, pretending to be friendly strangers instead of a HR violation. gloria was bad enough, they did not want her involved in their business any more than being one of her employees.

THE SHIFT FROM HELL HAS ARRIVED. robby is having a major off-day, there are four new members to the pitt crew, and to top it all off, the night shift was short the day prior and so chairs is about to overflow into the street. between medical students and extensive traumas, molly's thrown further into the deep end upon learning to adapt to having more people because that means less senior residents and attendings to turn to . . . which means even frank langdon is off the cards.

molly just never expected that the most insane day of her beginning career would end in aching despair, heartbreak, and the sudden urge to finally take a trip up to the roof where abbot and robby disappear to during shift changeover.
