"How much was your prize I'll pay on my behalf...?"
"It was 500"The man replied which Chance slapped another 500 on the table and the whispered gradually getting louder..
"If I hear another problem today this Casino will be done in my hands and everyone will listen..."As he stormed off angrily as the body guards followed behind but Chance’s stared scared them making them fall back and just protect the corridor instead of his office.
By the time he peacefully sat in his office he sighed it was already afternoon as he got on with a few paperwork worth at least time to the evening.
With Mafioso he reliased his plan failed as he waited atleast for Chance to call but failed until he did get a call about debtors sadly which he got up dressing immaculately and walk out closing the door behind him.
With Chance finishing his last paperwork he got a call from the receptionist.
"Yes..?"
"Mr Chance there's a few 'nice people wanting to talk!...downstairs"
"I'll be there..."Chance replied he knew who was there already...
Chance moved to the receptionist seeing a gang already there as he waved at them as if to tell them he was the boss.
One gang member moved up and picked Chance up by the collar..
"Where's the money..."the guy replied as Chance laughed moving the hand away from his collar.
"Boys,Boys...I'm sure violence is not the answer you know I'm not giving the money..."Chance replied
The gang laughed.
Loudly. Mockingly. Too loudly for Chance’s liking.
“Not giving the money, huh?” one of them sneered, cracking his knuckles as another stepped forward with a steel bat slung over his shoulder. “Then maybe we’ll take it… off your hands.”
Chance tilted his head, unfazed.
“Big talk for a guy whose shoes are from last season,” he said flatly, adjusting his gloves.
That was enough to make the first punch swing a wild hook that Chance ducked effortlessly, his fedora barely moving as he countered with a clean jab to the ribs. The man stumbled back with a wheeze.
Then all hell broke loose.
The bat came down..
CLANG!
Narrowly missing Chance’s head as he sidestepped, catching the man’s wrist and twisting it till the bat clattered to the floor. He spun it in his gloved hand and swung it in one smooth arc, cracking it across another thug’s legs.
But there were too many.
One grabbed him from behind, another went for his side a flurry of fists and curses filled the casino lobby.
Chance fought with precision, not rage. Every strike calculated, every movement efficient but even a pro has limits.
A brutal swing caught him across the arm.
CRACK.
He froze, eyes wide for a split second as pain screamed through his wrist. He dropped the bat, breathing sharply through his teeth.
“Ah… fantastic,” he muttered through a tight grin, clutching his arm against his chest.
The thugs smirked, thinking they’d won.
“Oh, don’t get too comfortable,” Chance said darkly, his tone dropping an octave.
He lunged forward with his good arm, headbutting one cleanly before kicking another in the knee.
He fought dirty this time grabbing ties, smashing heads into tables, throwing a chair across the room. The fight didn’t last long.
Within minutes, the gang was groaning on the floor, one even whimpering something about “never coming back.”
