04 • mcfist of fury

"On the one hand, the ability to fly would be cool. Then again, teleportation has a nice ring to it. I'm at the office, BAM! I'm in the lab, BAM! Now I'm at the mall, BAM!"

"Sir, you better take a look at this." Viceroy calls him over.

He stands up to see all the robots have been defeated, he growls in anger. "Stupid Ninja, Stupid Yokai, destroying everything! I just have to do it myself! Get me the McSterminator!" 

Viceroy hands him, what looks like to be a bolo tie.

"This is the McSterminator? It looks like a bolo tie."

"Just put in on." Laurance said annoyed.

"These things look ridiculous, I've never been able to pull them off." Suddenly a giant metal suit forms around him. "Ooh! Now we're talking!" He shoots lasers in the ceiling and smash through the wall, startling the heroes.

"What the hell??" Yokai said with a cough, fanning away the dust and debri.

The dust clears to reveal the giant robot to them.

Ninja was the first to speak out. "Hand over McFist, giant robot who... uh. I'm sorry, what historical Norrisvillian are you supposed to be?"

"I'm the guy who destroys the Ninja and Yokai."

"No one's ever destroyed the—" He gets punched in the face and into two walls of lasers. He goes back and forth for a bit before dropping on the ground. "No... okay... no, I see what you're doing."

"Heads up, Metalhead!" Yokai picks up a large concrete piece and throws it at him. Using that as a distraction, she goes over to help the Ninja up. The robot lifts up an arm to block it from his face and fires lasers at them.

They both step away from the laser shot in between them. The robot goes on and kept firing lasers non-stop but the two just keeps dodging them. Not a single target has been hit, and that just made McFist even more infuriated.

He fires an even bigger laser and they just jump over above him. Ninja took out a whip with a hook at the end and aims it around the robot's head.

He pulls off the head, the strength tugs the robot back and it fell over to reveal the man they were trying to save this whole time.

"Hannibal McFist?!" Both Ninja and Yokai exclaimed in shock.

McFist gave a nervous smile while struggling to get back up from the broken floorboards.

Ninja could only gasp "It all makes sense, the robots lured us in here by kidnapping you, then they forced you to fight us!"

"They did?" Both Yokai and McFist ask in confusion but McFist immediately switches up and agrees with him. "I mean, they did!"

"Why would they do that?" Ninja held his head in thought. 

Yokai looks back at McFist with a puzzled expression, he just sits there sweating nervously, avoiding eye contact. The words of the Nomicon suddenly comes to mind.

"Beware the enemy who wears a hero's mask." Her eyebrows furrowed "Oh, so that's what the Nomicon meant..." She muttered in realization. 

'So that means dad is... does he know about this?' She thinks.

Ninja heard her words but tries to deny it. "But you can't be the enemy, you're Hannibal McFist, you manufacture awesome!" He felt like his whole worldview was shattered.

"It's called McAwesome, actually, comes out next month. Give me your home addresses and I'll send you a case." McFist says with an evil smile.

"What better mask for an enemy than that of the most beloved man in town!"
