As you know, before the world came into being as we know it, there was only the Ethereal Plane. They had the power to create and morph anything they wanted. The boundless plane was only a piece of parchment for their creativity to run wild. Despite their immense power they were disciplined and level headed, never letting greed or temptation get in the way of their values. They considered themselves all equal and in a few ways family. The plane was a place without end, boundless, immortal and everlasting and home to some who served the Primordial Gods who are known as The Loyals. These beings were shards made from the Primordial God's divine energy. The Loyals are more than just shards. They bear consciousness and obey their creators will as does their divine energy. Now, these gods could create, but for all positives there must be a negative. Chaos revolved in a hazing cloud and it couldn't be stopped. Chaos was wild, unpredictable, and could destroy everything in its path. In the boundless ethereal plane only a few of the Primordial Gods had control over it, 7 of the Primordial Gods had such power but because they had the power to tear down all creation, they were cast aside, and seen as fallen. The ones who wielded Chaos became known as The Fallen Lords, and their Loyals became known as TheMarks since they are remnants of the Fallen Lord's divine energy. The Fallen Lords weren't by any means corrupt or forsaken but their appearance morphed and while they pertained their abilities as Primordial Gods, this chaos energy was rather wild and alien to them. They didn't know how to control it and often ended up in destruction when harnessing this power.
