Part 14~Robots Attack

"Wasabi, one of us has to be a decoy," Fred announced, peering over the unturned car.

"Flip for it." Wasabi pointed past them, where a robot had lifted a car and thrown it over the road. "Roof or wheels?"

"Wheels, obviously." The car landed with a loud crash, the wheels pointing up.

"How was that obvious?"

"Watch a movie sometime. A flipped car always lands wheels up. Come on."

Wasabi sighed, jumping out and picking up a piece of rubble. He threw it at the back of a robot's head. The robot turned before shooting at him. "I don't think I'm cut out for this!" Wasabi rolled behind a car as the robot continued to shoot at him.

"Fredzilla time," Fred shouted, blasting the robot with fire. The robot was unaffected, pushing Fred to the floor. "Halp!"

The robot charged up, about to blast Fred, when Wasabi cut it in half. Wasabi panted, dropping to the floor as he breathed heavily.

"Wasabi, are you okay?" Honey Lemon smiled, placing a hand on Wasabi's arm as he gulped.

"No, I'm not. I'm great. Adrenaline's flowing. I'm feeling it! Okay, who's next? Bring it! I said bring it! While I'm riding this adrenaline wave." Wasabi charged off as the rest looked at each other.

Fred cheered, putting up a thumbs-up.

Tadashi pushed the armour onto Baymax as he blinked. "Tadashi, do you feel better now?"

"I'll feel better when we beat Yama's robots." Tadashi froze as a crash echoed from the corridor. "Hang on."

"Hang on to what?"

Tadashi sighed. "I still have to teach you slang." Tadashi crouched down, walking to the corner and peering past.

On the other side, he spotted Yama and a number of his robots at the end. "You, guard the door," Yama ordered as he pressed a button, making a map appear on the interactive screen.

"Welcome to SFIT Virtual Guide. This Saturday, Muirahara Woods Fun Run."

"Fun," Yama growled, messing about on the screen.

Tadashi jumped as he spotted Baymax hovering over him. He pushed the robot back, shushing him. "Yama must have sent out those other bots as a distraction." Tadashi glanced back at Yama as he struggled to work the map. Tadashi held up his phone, calling the gang. "Yama just broke into the school. I think he really wants that thing from Granville's office."

"Seriously? It's a paperweight," Wasabi cried back as Gogo slid over.

"Also, we're kind of busy right now."

"Tadashi, you should get out of there," Honey Lemon suggested as Tadashi frowned.

"No, Baymax and I will find a way to hold off Yama."

"We'll be there as soon as we-" Honey Lemon was cut off as the phone line filled with static. Tadashi muttered something not safe for children before turning to Baymax.

"Alright, time to be a superhero." He pushed the chip in before glancing around the corner. "First, let's take out that guy. Ready?" Tadashi watched the single robot before he slid closer, hiding behind another corner. He motioned for Baymax to follow, which he did fairly slowly. "Right, the speed. Still got to deal with that-" Tadashi jumped as his phone rang.

He pulled it out to pick up when the robot tried to punch him, breaking through the wall.

"Tadashi," Cass greeted over the phone as Tadashi laughed nervously.

"Hey, Aunt Cass. I'm kind of busy."

"Me, too. The seafood market was jammed. But I got the most amazing deal on butterfish."

"Great, but-" Tadashi let out a yelp as a Baymax grabbed the back of his collar.

"Well, I just got on the train, so I'll be home soon, okay? Make sure to check up on Hiro, you know how he is with fighting robots." Cass laughed as Tadashi laughed nervously back.

"Right, yeah, but it's not that kind of fighting bot. Hiro's not involved at all." Tadashi let out a small sound as he was picked up by his foot. "Okay, gotta go. Love you. Bye." Tadashi hung up the phone as Baymax tackled the robot.

It pushed back, pinning Baymax to the wall as Tadashi jumped on it.

"Violence is not a recommended solution," Baymax stated as Tadashi ripped out the wires from the robot's back. The robot fell, ripping open Baymax's marshmallow suit.

"I am in need of repair," Baymax announced as Tadashi cursed.
