Chapter 6.

Saturday with Robert I just got back from a shopping spree and went to pick Robert up from his house. Robert was so busy reading one of his new books by James Patterson. I had to get his nose out of it. Aren't you coming over as promised? I said, I'm ready so we both left. I asked Robert to drive instead of me doing so; getting all the bags out of the car was lucky that I had some help. We I had gotten some food Chinese for dinner, and he was so happy about it. But I made some coffee for myself and gave Robert a beer, and we both watched TV. I did tell Robert all about Paul, and that he was invited to the dinner party, because it was Paul's Father's birthday on Sunday. It was going to be my second time visiting with his family, and I was hoping Robert would accept the invitation. Okay, I will be there. What time is it? Around 6.30 pm, it's family dinner. Sunday, please come, Robbie, yeah, I will make it.

Went to the kitchen and taking out the dinner to get it warmed up set it all on the table Robert, would you like to serve yourself, he immediately came and sure loved Chinese food we had Chow mien, lemon chicken curry, mixed fried rice Robert did enjoy the food and I told him if he wanted to spend the night it was fine to do so there was the spare bedroom for him. Robert stayed back. Wishing him good night, I went to brush my hair and get ready for bed. My friend Shadow, who happened to be tagging along, Hi Skyla, did you have a nice day? And dinner with your brother the food smelled so good, maybe you're tired out and need rest for another big day tomorrow. I love chatting with you whenever I get the time to do so said Shadow, turning off the light and getting into bed, good night, Shadow. Sleep well.

Sunday morning, and I could smell the sweet aroma of coffee. Taking my shower, I went to the kitchen, where Robert had prepared breakfast: French toast, bananas. After breakfast, we planned to go shopping for birthday gifts. I got a wallet, socks for Paul's father, and Robert brought him some T-shirts and a jacket. I went to get my hair styled and got myself a new dress for the dinner. All the gifts were wrapped before leaving for dinner at Paul's home. We both got freshened up, and Robbie wore his blue suit. He looked very handsome. I got dressed wearing my new blue printed chiffon dress, and we then managed to leave on time for dinner at Paul's house.

My very first date Paul, and with Robert by myside, The dinner happened to be so delicious, with the family with soft music, in the background, Robert got to be introduced to the family, seems that Paul's young sister Avril had a crush on my brother, after cutting the cake and we all wished Paul's father great success and blessings, the music was still playing and Paul turned to me asking for a dance which I joined him, he held me so tenderly, never taking his eyes off me, Robert picked Avril for a dance, while Paul's mother and father danced not long and the doorbell rang, when June's boyfriend entered with his mother and father Mr. and Mrs. Patterson and their song Michael, so as you can guess we all danced, and enjoyed the party. I had to leave early to get to work early the next day as my boss was flying out to Spain, on business. So having excused ourselves Robert and I left wishing everyone, good night and thanking them for the nice birthday dinner we left.
