I never doubted I should ever come back,
I couldn't believe, my mind such a wreck.
The pieces I gathered, worlds breaking apart,
But I bit the bullet, tried to mend my heart.
And memories of you slowly start to fade,
My vision blurs, the starry sky turns gray.
Dark and darker, will colors shine again?
Maybe, just maybe, will it end, this pain?
But could you ever find the right way back to me?
Could you ever hold me and heal what used to be?
Now flowers bloom though you are gone, yet I found
I still love the echo of your heartbeat's sound.

PoetryA collection of some short texts I made over the years. I use too many repetitions and not enough rhymes. all i wished for is to be a piece of your life all i wanted is to be a piece of your smile all i needed is to have a piece of your heart
