Will forever be enough

the beginning

You know, they say forever is a long time.
However in my experience it seems to go by pretty quickly.

I stopped counting the years at 300 hundred.
I am a Romani previously a nomad and an artist.
I was once in love with a maiden
At the age of 17 it was.
My beautiful EveAngeline.
But there was this noble woman Catalina.
daughter of the count of the land we stopped on .
Enchanted by my appearance
Catalina went crazy.
Begging me multiple times to marry her.
Untill on day her father arranged a meeting with my father.
We were betrothed to eachother.
There was nothing I could have done but marry her.

I said goodbye to EveAngeline.
Who Catalina kidnapped and executed.
Right after.

Soon came the day of our wedding.
I stood Infront of the chapel waiting for my bride.
But she never showed up.
News came that she had eloped with another man.
Oritel was his name.
A vampire.
When I heared the reality I was both shattered and over the moon .
I searched for EveAngeline.
But it was as if she was nowhere to be seen.
In a cave under the lake I found her colourless body .
Absolutely drained of blood two holes and a red lipstick smudged on her neck.
It was clear to me who did it.

Catalina.

I broke down.
I screamed ,cried threw myself at the floor mourning my beloved.

God himself pittied me .
He granted me the power of eternal life .
So I could take my revenge on Oritel and Catalina
And I was given the roles of vampire slayer and demon exorcist.

I felt stronger , faster more awake.
As if every muscle in me had quadrupled in size.
As if my veins pumped more blood than ever before.

I took the corpse of my beloved.
And walked to the cemetery.
I drove my hands into the soil and ripped a hole 7 feet deep .
I placed her delicate body and covered it back up.

As I was about to walk away I felt them
Their eyes staring at me .

" Come out Catalina"
I said with rage .

And then she emerged from the darkness
Her pale skin illuminated by the moon .
Her nearly clear eyes digging right into me.
Still wearing the wedding dress.

"The failed bride has finally honoured me with her presence" I say sarcasticly.

Getting closer to her hands forming into fists.

"Where's your lover boy?"

As soon as those words come out my mouth .
Oritels green eyes shine through the darkness.
Coming out the hiding.

We stare eachother off.
Before I attack I decide to ask Catalina a couple questions.

" Why ......why did you kill her?"

She got close to me then whispered in my ear .

" So I could have you all to myself "

"All to your self you say.
Then why did you elope ."
I question her

"Oh , Cara mia i had to it wasn't my own decision , I was under hypnosis still am a lil hahaha..... But it doesn't mean I don't love You... Romeo"
She says caressing my chest.

I take a step back
" Catalina... Don't use my name in vain."
I say to her colder than ice

She looks at me as if slightly hurt.

I put my hand in her face .
" You're no longer human aren't you "
I ask her.

A slight smirk on her face.

That smirk alone answered my question
She decided to show me her teeth , I punched her the second she did.

Oritel came whooshing at me
I managed to hold my ground for a while.
Untill Catalina gained consciousness again.

As I fight with Oritel.
Going hand in hand .
I feel claws digging into my back.
Tearing down my skin

And all are causes of Catalina.

"This is how the count has raised you 2 on 1 huh "
I taunt.

"All is fair in love and war "
Oritel answers
.I manage to push Oritel off.

I grab Catalina by the neck
Then Rip of a branch as I'm about to finish her off.

Both her and Oritel vanish .
