"Smokebomb!" He pulls out a smokebomb and throws it down. Smoke filling the room as we both flee from the scene.

I stood atop of the school roof, getting a birds eye view of where monster Bucky could've gone. Heading off into the city, I searched high and low, every crevice and alleyway I could find. "C'mon, where is he."

As time flew by, it was getting late. My final destination to check is my neighborhood. "I would check if he's somewhere around his house, but I don't know where he lives." Ultimately deciding to put my search on hold, I stop a few blocks away from my house. I don't want anyone to accidentally see me break into my own home in my hero form.

Hiding behind a bush, I took off my mask to de-transform and peek out to make sure no one is around. Stepping out on the sidewalk, I quickly head into the direction of my house. I still have a few minutes left before curfew, I can still make it in time if I speed walk there.

Just then, I heard twig snap and I shot my head around to look behind me but there was no one. I feel my heart thumping inside my chest, the unease building up. After all, I'm still a high school girl alone out in the streets while it's dark out. Taking one more second to look behind I turn back around just to see a figure in front of my face. "Hey."

"AHH!!"

I let out a scream as I throw a punch at the figure then falling onto the ground with my butt hitting the cement floor. The said figure groans and holds his nose in pain. Lifting my head up, I can get a clear look at the culprit. "Ninja?!"

"Ow! Oh man, that was some punch you got there." Still holding onto his nose, he was currently hanging upside down with his scarf attached to the top of the lampost. "You nearly scared me half to death! I'm so sorry for hitting you. Are you okay?" Getting up from the ground, I reach my hand out in worry.

"No, no, no, I'm fine. Don't worry." He waves his hand in dismissal.

"What're you doing here?" I questioned.

Releasing his scarf from the lampost, he jumps down and stands upright in front of me. "Well, dear citizen. I was just out patrolling till I found you walking around here all by yourself. By the way, you don't happen to notice a giant purple rampaging monster around here have you?"

Looks like me and him had the same idea. "Uh no, sorry I didn't see anything."

"Bummer." He leans back against the lampost. "So what's a girl like you doing out at this hour?"

Crap "Oh, w-well I was just coming back from a game, but I forgot something back at the school, so I had to go back and grab it." I cursed at my stutter, but mentally pat myself on the back for quickly thinking of an excuse.

"Okay then. Hey, I still have some time on my hands, so how's about it I take you home?"

"Oh, no. That's okay, you don't have to. I can't possibly ask you to do that."

"I'm offering to do it. Besides, you being out here all alone, who knows what kind of dangers lurk around here." He offers out a hand for me to take. I reluctantly place my hand in his and he pulls me closer. I let out a small yelp in shock as he picks me up bridal style and I wrap my hands around his neck. We stare into eachother's eyes for a moment before he snaps out of it and jumps up onto the roofs with me in his arms.

I told him where to go as we stop at the side my house so that my dad doesn't see me with the Ninja through the front windows. He gently sets me down on the ground as I thank him for the assistance. "No problem, you'll see me round next time when there's trouble. Don't brag about me to your friends alright." He says jokingly.
