Mother

Why are you being so stubborn?
You drive me insane, 'til I'm urn
I know what you are, I see right through you
Your narcissistic personality, that's what you use

I don't hate you, no, never
I love you, I always will, forever
I understand, you're stressed
And you're always trying your best

Do you remember that one time?
That one time, you destroyed a fun day of mine
You called me names, blamed me for your state
When I haven't done a single thing, you made my heart ache

You've had a sick heart, for a while now
And your past even sicker, yet you've survived, how?
And what's a mother, without mistakes
When I see you ruining yourself, it aches

You never taught me, how I should stand up for myself
Whenever we argue, I have no choice, but to stay silent
You make up lies, actions, words I've never done or said
That's what you use against me, to win, to get away

You support me, all the time, you believe in me
Even if my dreams, my thoughts sound unrealistic
How can you do that, when I'm so ungrateful?
You're a great mother, even thoughtful

I can't know how you achieve every desired goal
How you get out, when you fall in a hole
Who am I to judge, why do I bother
When I'm terrified, to be an even worse mother
