As I get dragged back further and further, I start noticing feathers on the floor, where could these be coming from?

I feel the monsters arms release me, and I hear a thud on the floor, I stand up. To see the monster covering it's eyes, but it doesn't work as it's a shadow. I turn my neck to look at my back, to see a pair of wings.

They are glowing bright, but it doesn't hurt my eyes. The shadow must be some kind of demon, and my wings are my protection. I run my fingers down my wings, feeling  the feathers tickling at my fingers. I have full control over my wings, and I  flap them like a bird, the shadow evaproates into the air, and gets carried away by the wind.

I'm standing and my brain is trying to process what has just happened, when the sand whirls into a small tornado, and brings a bright light.

When the sand has stopped, and the light has gone. A white figure stands there in replace. It's my mother.

"Mum..?" I whisper silently to her, and she puts her finger to my lip, I reach my hand out and hold her hand. She smiles at me. She opens up her arms, and I go and hug her,

"I'm always here for you Abbie, in your heart. I love you", my mum whispers in my ear

"I love you too mum", and she slowly fades away from my grasp. And a glow starts coming from where my heart lays, it feels like it's swoalling me in, and when the light fades out. I'm standing outside my house, with no one at the window.

I open the door.

No one there to greet me back, just the silence whispering through the rooms.

No one to tell me that they love me.

Just me.

Alone.

Forever.

But, my adventure isn't over yet, as there was a knock at the door.
