Elizabeta sat in the world meetings, twirling a lock of hair around her finger. Taking a glance at her classy lover by her side, her fingers pulled from her hair and wove their way into his hand instead. Seeing him turn slightly to her, asking a silent question, Hungary made head motions towards the door of the meeting hall. There was such a ruckus that nobody would notice them being gone. Roderich smiled at her gently,  the corners of his violet eyes crinkling up in a way they only did for her. Leading the female nation out of the door, he gently shut it behind them, muffling the loud yelling of the rest of the world bickering. Hungary sighed in relief, before gasping and  bringing a hand to her ear. "D-do you hear that?" she stuttered, obviously worried. "No, my dear, you must be hearing things." Elizabeta shook her head violently, sending her long bunches of soft brown curls fanning out around her head. "No! I swear to you, it sounds like a child!" The older nation still heard nothing, but decided to follow his wife as she took off down the marble-floored halls. "Dear, please wait up!" he said, trailing a fair distance behind her. Man, was he out of shape. Ignoring his pleas, she slid around the corner and came to a sudden stop in front of a basket, where a small child lay, crying softly. Lifting the baby gently out of the makeshift bed, Elizabeta sang to softly to it. Austria picked a note from the dirty blankets at the bottom, protecting the baby from the harsh wicker. Opening it up, he began to read aloud. "Please, take care of my little girl for me. Her name is (f/n) and she is six months old. Her birth-date is (mm/dd/yyyy). My monster of a father has more than likely wiped my 'sorry existence off the face of the earth', so you are the only people she has. Please, I pray that you will love her and treat her well." The letter ended there, no signature, no nothing.  The woman held the little girl close, singing softly to her. "Roderich, please.  This little girl cannot be left here, alone an afraid. She is without a mother." The brown haired nation rose to her feet, cradling the small child in her arms. Roderich laid a hand on her shoulder. "Whatever your decision is regarding the little miss here, I support you all the way." Hand in hand, they walked out into the rain, sheltering the newest addition to their family.

"Eight....Nine.....Ten! Ready or not, here I come!" A silky voice called throughout the home, his voice bouncing and resonating through the seemingly abandoned halls as his shoes clicked against the wood. He smiled softly as an assortment of giggles rose from the hall closet. "Now....could they be in....HERE?" He called as he pulled the door open, revealing his lover with their daughter on her lap. The tiny (h/c) girl sprang from her adoptive mother's lap and let out a squeal as both Roderich and Elizabeta chased her through the house. Roderich caught up to her, as his strides were at least three times as long. He scopped her up, tickling her quickly before holding her high up in the air.

"I'm so glad you're here, little miss!"
