The faint buzz of luminescent lights flickering in the hallways shadowed the soft footsteps of 2 night guards.

Tap... tap... tap...

"So, what did the job say in the contract?" one of them asks, their flashlight turning on as they walk into a dark hallway.

The other scoffs, "Dunno. Didn't read it. All I saw was night guard and signed it."

They both continue down the hall, entering a small office at the end. They flip the lights on, glancing around at the disheveled drawers and the messy desk with a static monitor.

"What the hell?" one of the new hires ask. "You think we could get Valorant on it?"

"Shut up," the other gives them a light shove before smacking the monitor back to life. They see a small, digital clock that reads "00:00" in glowing red letters.

The other guard slumps down into the office chair, spinning around on it aimlessly. "Ugh.. stupid GCSES... if I didn't fail them, I bet you I'd be in London right now with someone's fit older brother.."

"HAHAHAHAHHAHA!! Hilarious one, Lue," the guard looks at them with a deadpan expression.

"What? You don't support my love life, Emil?" Lue responds, dramatically pretending to be wounded. Emil rolls his eyes, their gaze falling on the ringing telephone on the counter.

"I answer the telephone, okay?" Emil says to Lue, picking up the machine. He puts it up to his ear, a voice ringing out.

"Hello? Hello, hello?"

"Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night."

The guy on the phone begins to drone on. Lue and Emil listen for the first 10 seconds before getting distracted, notably by the sound of someone walking around in the hallway.

"Hello..?" He asks, stumbling into the office. Lue and Emil raise an eyebrow at the sudden arrival of someone with an alcohol bottle in his hand.

"...Who the fuck-, sorry, freak are you?" Lue asks after a bit, glancing the man up and down.

"I- uhh, I'm a new hire..?" The man says, the nervous tone evident in their voice. Man was used for a lack of a better word. They were a bit timid and young-looking.

"Why're you so late?" Emil asks, ignoring the phone guy's rambling about the animatronics getting quirky at night.

"Just.. picking up a few drinks," he says, trying to hide the bottles of alcohol behind his back.

Lue rolls their eyes at the failed cover-up. "Jesus christ.." they mutter, turning back to the small tablet they were provided. The tablet was connected directly to the cameras in this pizzeria.

Their eyes flick over to the clock. 2:00AM. 4 more hours.

They sigh, staring at the animatronics onstage. They flick between a few cameras, and they swear they could see Freddy doing the gangnam style whenever they looked at the dining room camera. Whenever Lue switched to the mainstage camera, Freddy and Chica were completely still.

Except Bonnie. Bonnie was walking down the dining room and to the west hall of the security office.
