Klaus' POV
Klaus is furious, angry and sad. Furious because his hybrids all died on him, refusing to be made into his image. Refusing to be made at all, dying in transition as if to spite him. Angry because Stefan, the man he'd considered a close friend had attacked him the second Klaus had vocalized the idea that the reason his hybrids aren't working is because Elena should have been the one sacrificed. And finally sad, sad that if that was true, if Elena should have been the one to be sacrificed, should be the one currently dead...then Isadora's death meant nothing, was for nothing.
Which is stupid, he barely knew the girl, barely knew a thing about Isadora Gilbert. Didn't know her favourite colour, favourite thing to eat, didn't even know what she looked like happy. Not that small facsimile of a smile she'd worn when he'd first met her, but a proper smile that spoke of joy and created a twinkle in the eyes. The only thing Klaus could say he knew about Isadora Gilbert was that her eyes were kind, lips soft and the small noises she'd made when he'd kissed her had his jeans tightening.
She had been, for just a moment and despite the fact that she was a doppelganger, the most beautiful girl he'd ever had the chance to set his eyes on. She'd glowed in the moonlight, her eyes alight with the magic in the air. Her hair had been soft in his grip and killing her may have been the hardest thing that Klaus has ever done. Feeling her body slowly turn limp in his grasp, hearing her heart beat slow, the blood in his mouth had felt like lead on his tongue and tasted like regret.
So maybe it's the fury or the anger that made him stay awake in order to snap Stefan's neck from Chicago to Mystic Falls that makes his vision go dark. Or maybe it's the sadness, the pain and the feeling of guilt sinking in his stomach when Elena Gilbert rounds the corner with the wrong smile on a stolen face, that makes his vision go black.

Caroline's POV
Caroline is worried for Matt, for her ex boyfriend, for Tyler's best friend. Within a matter of months, Matt's life has completely flipped on it's head and instead of having a girlfriend and a best friend to lean on, they're too busy making out with each other to pay any attention to him. It's wrong and cruel and undeserved. Matt has been nothing but kind and generous and caring. Now the only person he seems to really speak to is Isadora.
She really doesn't want that girl dragging Matt down to her level. Elena's sister or not, she's always been the town fuck up and Caroline doesn't want Matt following her down the same path. Matt will get a football scholarship and move out of the town with the rest of them, she thinks with a small nod of her head, completely ignoring the fact that Matt didn't get the chance to play football all of last season because Tanner was dead and the school was too cheap to get a new coach. Not even mentioning the fact that their team sucks and what talent scout would travel to a barely named small town with a shitty Football team?
But Caroline doesn't think about those things, instead she thinks about that time she caught Isadora making out with her first boyfriend and then denied ever doing it. And don't even get her started on the fact that she clearly bribed Carol Lockwood into awarding her Miss Mystic. She can't help the huff that leaves her lips as she continues to paint honey onto door handles.
"What you thinking about?" Tyler inquires as he rests his head on her shoulder.
"Matt's been getting really close to Isadora since he found out about everything." Caroline states.
Tyler's head shoots up off her shoulder, "Please don't tell me your jealous about Matt hanging out with Isa."
"I'm not jealous! And don't call her Isa!" Caroline snaps.
"Why shouldn't I call her Isa?" Tyler asks, "you know she's not bad like everyone has made her out to be right?"
"You're just saying that because you've never seen the mean things she's done to Elena, Bonnie and I." Caroline points out. "She's not a good person and I'm worried about the influence she'll have on Matt."
