See, I don't know when this feelings started.
When they started to appear, when they I realised they existed, I don't know.
"Leon?" My fingers knocked on his room door, the sound of the wood hitting my knuckles echoed in my ear louder than it should.
I heard the faint footsteps draping the floor as the door opens with a slow creak. It was dark out, Leon was already asleep a while ago. He sleeps pretty early. My fingers fiddled as I felt his eyes finally focus and noticed that it was me, knocking.
"Felix?" He yawned. A hand over his mouth. "What do you want?" He sucks his saliva, not that I noticed. Why did I notice.
"Can I stay with you for the night?"
He looks confused. "What for?" He has ruffled hair. He's always had ruffled hair. His hand on the door frame.
"Please?" My fingers intertwined, pleading; my face looking up at him with the sleepiest of eyes.
He thought for a moment, he's always had this familiar thinking face. He opened his mouth slightly, then closes it again. "Sure."
He turns back, walking to his bed as I ambled behind him. Oh, wait the door. I closed it slowly, locking it, checking to make sure. He's always had a neat room.
He sits on his bed, waiting for me to do the same. "So, why did want to be in my room again?"
I sat beside him. My eyes looked everywhere but his. "I-" My tongue felt tied. "Are you okay being friends with me, y'know, despite everything." My fingers fiddled again.
He looks slightly surprised. "Well yeah, of course." He paused. Why did he pause. "You're my best friend. I wouldn't trade you for anything." He was never great with physical touch, wasn't he?
I looked up at him, slowly. "Leon, I-" No. I shouldn't tell him. What if he doesn't like me back? I never questioned his preference.
He was looking at me, so softly. I felt his hand on my cheeks, his thumb stroking my face. It was pretty dim in here. He opened his nightlight. Of course he has one.
"Can I," he stops, his eyes glancing at my face. What does he want?
I only nodded slightly.
He kissed my cheek. His lips were cold. I could feel it against my skin, soft, and delicate.
He looked shocked, only slightly. He pulled his hands away from me. "Maybe I'm just tired."
Was his face red? I could've sworn it was. He turned his face away from me, hiding. I never realised we were holding hands, when did that happen?
"Leon." He turns, slowly facing me. Heh. His face is red. My hand reaches for his face. His fingers held it, slowly dragging it down.
"Felix." We stared at each other, I didn't count how long. He pursed his lips. "I like you alot." His head lands on my shoulder, rubbing his nose on it ever so slightly. "This sounds so embarrassing."
I slowly pushed him up, trying to get him to look me in the eye. "I like you alot too." I chuckled. A soft smile etched on his face, before he bursts into a small laughter.
I looked at his lips, wait, what am I doing. I looked back at his eyes, oh my his face is red again.
His mouth opened slightly. "Do you wanna-"
I kissed him. He was shocked, for a bit, but then kissed me back. My hands cupped his face, pulling him closer. His hands dragged a long my waist, tugging at the waistband of my pants.
The kiss was passionate, yet soft. Our lips parted after, a slow look at each others eyes.
"Wanna sleep?"
"Yeah sure."
