Their Rumi...
The Rumi they would watch cheesy romance movies with after late night rehearsals.
The Rumi who would always burn her food when she tried to cook.
The Rumi they knew and loved.
Gone.
Zoey and Mira stood their frozen covered in blood, cuts, and bruises from the fight with Gwi-ma.
"Mira...Gwi-ma took Rumi..." Zoey said, her voice shaking. "This is all my fault.....She saw my face when I saw her patterns! I saw how she looked when I pointed my weapon at her! This is all my fault!" Zoey snapped with tears streaming down her face.
Mira stood their still frozen for a second, then put her hand on Zoey's shoulder. "Zoey...it's not your fault it's also mine..." Zoey looked up at Mira, still tears in her eyes. "I pointed my weapon at her first.....it's not just your fault Zoey....its also mine..." Mira said, voice low while pulling Zoey in for a hug.
They stood their for another second, just wrapped around in each other.
"I'm scared Mira..." Zoey whispered after a while.
"I know...." Mira whispered back. "That's why we have to get her back."
"But how we don't know where she is! She could be anywhere!" Zoey said a little above a whisper.
"Well not just anywhere......there's only place where she could be..." Mira said.
Zoey nodded, pulling Mira into a deeper hug.
"Hang on Rumi...we're coming..." Zoey mumbled.
And off to the demon realm they went!
