School starts when flowers no longer bloom and the ground is covered by the falling snow. It's the first day of Nomoko Academy, the most prestigious academy in the world. The day is like every other; the students are greeted by the Student Council President, Haruna Kisaragi. Her hair is orange like the sunset, and her eyes are a deep sea of violet. As Haruna speaks, you can tell how gentle she is, but a fire burns inside her.
After the morning assembly, all the students are shown to their homeroom classes. Student Council President Haruna Kisaragi is assigned to the same class as a well-known boy named Jin Seishiro, also known as "the Lazy Genius." His eyes are a deep blue like the ocean itself, and his hair is pure white like the snow outside. Jin and Haruna are close.
Haruna looks at Jin while he's sleeping at his desk, earbuds in his ears, tuning everyone out. As Haruna walks up to Jin, she hits him in the head and speaks.
Haruna: "Jin, you shouldn't be sleeping in class, even if it's the first day of school, you idiot."
Jin just turns his head and looks at her, rubbing the back of his head as he speaks.
Jin: "Sorry, Pres. It's just so boring. I mean, what's the point in even coming when we do nothing on the first day anyway?"
Haruna looks down at him, annoyed, her voice firm.
Haruna: "As if you would even do the work if we had any, Seishiro."
Jin looks at Haruna before face-planting onto his desk, falling back asleep as if too tired to even talk anymore. Haruna looks at him, even more annoyed, but pays him no attention and walks to the front of the class, beginning to take roll, marking everyone present but Jin Seishiro.
The day passes with Jin ignoring everyone, slouching through the halls, bored and tired. He sees the Student Council President, Haruna Kisaragi, struggling to hold three boxes full of paperwork for herself and the rest of the student council. Jin looks at her, chuckling to himself, but he's not willing to help her in any way. He finds her struggle adorable and just walks beside her as Haruna speaks, aggravated.
Haruna: "If you're not going to help, then just go somewhere else."
Jin looks at her, barely holding back laughter at her aggravated face before patting her head. His voice is deep and alluring as he speaks.
Jin: "Pres, you can handle it yourself. Plus, I don't feel like lifting those boxes-they look heavy, and I'm not really interested in helping you. Besides, I'm enjoying myself right here, watching you struggle."
He looks at her and smirks. Her eyes widen with anger, and she throws the boxes at him. He falls to the ground, the boxes and papers surrounding him. Jin looks up at Haruna, not expecting her to be so furious. Her voice is angry.
Haruna: "Well then, Mr. Lazy Prince, since you don't want to help, I'll make you help! Start picking up the papers, or else!"
Haruna puts her hand on her hip, looking down at Jin with a furious look in her violet eyes. A shiver goes down his spine as he sighs and begins picking up the papers, helping her take them to the student council room.
After a couple of minutes, they arrive at the student council room. A huge central table is covered in all sorts of papers, and a giant smart board is on the wall. Haruna sets a box down on the table and shows Jin where to set the other two boxes. She looks at him before speaking.
Haruna: "Thanks again, Seishiro. If you weren't such a pain, I would ask you to join the student council. We really need the help."
Jin looks at her before speaking quickly.
Jin: "Absolutely not, Pres. Don't even think about asking me. I won't do it, and you can't force me!"
Jin moves his hands quickly, as if this were a life-or-death situation, and immediately turns to the door to get away as fast as possible. Haruna just follows him, laughing at how much energy he's putting into getting away from work. She then speaks.
Haruna: "Yes, let's go, Mr. Lazy Prince, before you have a heart attack from too much work."
The day officially comes to an end
