In a world dominated by wealth and power, people were categorized by their status, occupations, and incomes. Life was predictable, governed by hierarchy—until a virus changed everything.
At first, it was subtle: a weakened body, a lingering cold. For some, it lasted days; for others, weeks or months. Then the virus mutated, altering the very constitution of human bodies. It manifested a secondary gender within each person, accompanied by a unique scent—pheromones—that could smell like anything from flowers to fruits.
This virus became known as ABO. Scientists classified the secondary genders as Alpha, Beta, and Omega. Society soon adapted, coexisting while keeping these genders in mind.
Alphas are born leaders, dominating business, government, and academics. They instinctively assumed superiority over others. Alphas could impregnate Omegas—and sometimes Betas—and were further classified into four tiers: C, B, A, and S, with S being the most elite. Beyond influence, Alphas possessed incredible strength and reflexes. Yet even they had a vulnerability: a biological phase called rut, during which they behaved almost like animals and could impregnate partners almost instinctively.
Omegas are known for their delicate nature and soft features, often regarded as the "flowers" of society, their sweet scents distinguishing them from others. They are classified into two types: dominant and recessive. They are highly intuitive and academically talented, with strength rivaling Alphas. However, they also have their vulnerabilities—during their heat, they become highly susceptible to pregnancy when engaging in intimacy with partners or mates.
Betas are the society's norm—capable, competent, and reliable. They lack extraordinary abilities but are far from ordinary in skill and talent.
For a time, these three secondary genders became the accepted reality. But not long after, scientists discovered a new secondary gender: Enigma.
Enigmas are unlike any other. Their strength surpasses that of Alphas, and their senses—smell, sight, hearing, touch, and taste—are heightened. They possess unmatched perception, capable of predicting outcomes with precision. Their brains functions differently, processing the world in ways no one else could.
Though scientists announced this discovery, the public largely dismissed it. No one had met an Enigma, and many regarded them as myth, brushing off their existence as fantasy.
