Humanity building their own Monsters to fight against the threat ahead of them. The Jaegers, we were winning at first, we got good at it..... and so an idea came to mind..... the T...
Monsters[mon-ster] noun(A creature of large size. A horrifying creature with razer sharp claws and fangs. Destruction and terror is all it knows)
Power[po-wer] noun(Power is defined by an infinite amount of meanings. Power can grand the ability to create your biggest dream. But power can corrupt the best of us. Turning us into something we're not)
When I was a kid, whenever I'd felt small and lonely, I'd look at the stars. Wondered if there was life up there. Turns out I was looking in the wrong direction. When alien life entered our world. It was from deep beneath the Pacific Ocean. A fisure between two tectonic plates. A portal between dimensions. The bridge was open.

From that moment forward, creatures that we believe exited in movies and in our imagination came to our world. Monsters of massive size. We codename them Kaijus. My parents were barely kids before the first Kaiju made land in San Francisco.

We didn't take it kindly of a Kaiju attacking us. So our naturally responded was to fight back. However, tanks and jets did little damage to the Kaiju. We ended up using a nuke to kill the Kaiju. But it was too late. The amount of destruction, chaos, terror, and death the kaiju brought was too much. More than tens of thousands of lives were lost. Many lost loves one that we could never bring back. But amounts of all of it, amounts our sadness we manage to move on. We mourned our dead, memorialized, and we moved on.
???: In human history, this has been the biggest loss of human life.
???2: After bringing down the monster, the death toll goes beyond the thousands.
???3: This moment will be recorded as the day we were attacked by a Kaiju.
We thought it was over, the catastrophic that destroyed and killed thousands ended, that everything was over. That things would go back to normal. But that was far from the biggining, the first attack of the first kaiju was only the start. Many more events that were coming after that changed my world. Only a year passed since the Kaiju attack. Another one came out. The second hit Manila, causing massive chaos and death toll.
