though her role was more of a background character, she occasionally showed up throughout the events of the iron man trilogy. she first appears being given to tony at six years old after her mother's death. while reluctant and not very good at parenting at first, tony takes her in—not really having any other choice. the trilogy shows their bond forming and growing deeper, rosaline becoming a miniature version of her father. it shows tony's protectiveness over the girl, as well as her being around the life of a superhero—foreshadowing how much she looks up to not only her father, but the rest of the avengers as well.
