{Mummy Kunle is seen coming out from the front door leading to the parlour. A chandelier is seen at the middle of the ceiling showing off it's bright colors. The light beams all over the place. The couch which is well arranged round the parlour is of fine leather material. A dark man whose body build is not too big and not too small is sitted on one of the couch's with leg crossed and a glasses sagging on the bridge of his nose. He is reading the Bible and at intervals checks his wrist watch. His wife gets close to him and sits with much struggle which show signs of old age}
Mummy Kunle: Ah... dear, Good morning
Daddy Kunle: (takes off his glasses) good morning dear (observes his wife and returns to his Bible. Seems to forget something, raises his head again) where are the children, they are to be out by now?
Mummy Kunle: (struggles to get up from the couch) let me check their rooms. I believe they should be observing their quiet time (leaves)

{Rachel sits in the middle of a big bed, she is holding a smart phone and a bible is open on her laps. Her room is well lighted and arranged too. She is chatting and therefore smiles at intervals. There's an abrupt knock on the door which makes her come back to her senses}
Rachel: (in an angry tone) who is that?
Mummy Kunle: (smiles) it's mummy, please be fast with your quiet time so we can have our devotion. Sorry for disturbing.
Rachel: (hits the bed) Mtcheew (climbs out of the bed with much anger and murmurings)

{Mummy Kunle is knocking on a door. She knocks two times before the door is opened and a head of a boy sticks out. His beards and matured face shows that he is not a child)
Victor: (yawns) good morning, mum
Mummy Kunle: (moves back) good morning my son (looks at him from head to toe) are you just waking up?
Victor: (scratches his head) mum I won't lie to you o. Yes I'm just waking up. I slept late
Mummy Kunle: (not happy) It's time for devotion. As for your quiet time you'll explain that to your Dad (leaves)
Victor: argh.... mtcheew
{Mummy Kunle enters the parlor. Daddy Kunle raises his head}
Daddy Kunle: where are they?
Mummy Kunle: they are coming (sits)
{Few seconds later, Victor and his sister, Rachel are dragging themselves into the parlour. Rachel is holding a Bible and a scarf, Victor follows after with his Bible}
Rachel: (about to sit) good morning
Daddy Kunle: (mean) keep standing
Victor: (about to sit also)
Daddy Kunle: hey! And you too - join her
Mummy Kunle: dear!
Daddy Kunle: (raises his hand for silence)
Mummy Kunle:mmm
Rachel: Good morning Daddy
Daddy Kunle: (drops his Bible on the center table and his glasses on the Bible. He uncrosses his legs) what's good about the morning?
Rachel: I was having my quiet time and...and the Bible passage was just too long
Mummy Kunle: (smiles)
Daddy Kunle: (nods) I see (turns to his wife) dear
Mummy Kunle: yes?
Daddy Kunle: I guess it will be nice if they both share what they learnt during their quiet time. What do you think?
Mummy Kunle: (smiles) that's totally my line of thought. That's a good one, let's start with Rachel. What do you think, dear?
Daddy Kunle: yes! I mean...since her Bible passage this morning was so long, it is best we give her the opportunity to speak first before her older brother. But before that (pause) you'll both tell me where you read from so that we (looks at his wife) can follow
{Rachel and Victor look at each other}
Mummy Kunle: yes Rachel. Let's hear from you
Rachel: (stammers) ehm... mummy...err...uhm(opens her Bible) I think I've forgotten
{Daddy and Mummy Kunle look at each other surprised)
Mummy Kunle: how have you forgotten? I mean... wasn't it this morning, something you just concluded?
Rachel: (scratches her head) err... mummy I just opened anywhere in the Bible
Daddy Kunle: (in anger) shut up! (mimicks her). Please Pastor Victor, speak to us(turns over to Victor) see what your sister is turning into
Victor: Daddy I didn't read any scripture today. I actually woke up late
Daddy Kunle: (surprised) what made you sleep late pastor?
Victor: (looks down, doesn't say a word)
Daddy Kunle: (disappointed) my children (looks up) sit! The both of you...have your sit. (wags his head) open your Bible to the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 12 from verse 1 (everyone opens, sound of crumpling papers) Rachel read it
Rachel: (opens a few more pages) and I read, remember now they creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shall say I have no pleasure in them
Mummy Kunle:(nods)
Daddy Kunle:(sighs) my children, you were both born and brought up in the church. Your mother and I (holds her shoulder) by the grace of God have tried our best in bringing you up in the way of the Lord, we trained you up in the truth of God's word. But of recent my children, we've noticed, your mother and I have noticed that your
behavior towards the things of God suddenly changed, you now take the things of God with levety. Please my children, do not leave the truth. Serve the Lord with all your heart now that you're still young and agile for God's word. Don't be deceived by friends please. (turns to his wife) dear do you have anything to say (Mummy Kunle who has been sober all this while wags her head) then please pray for us.
Mummy Kunle: (sighs heavily) let's bow out head. Dear Jesus, I thank for my beautiful daughter and handsome son. I thank you for what you've been doing in their lives of late please Lord Jesus, wherever they have missed their steps please Lord bring them back, bring them back to you in the mighty name of Jesus we have prayed ( a chorused amen)
(Light fades)
