I Need You

Part 2: unpacking

I walk out the bathroom straight to my closet to grab sweats and a crop top. After getting dressed and putting my hair up in a messy bun I walk down stairs to go to the kitchen to get some water and something small for breakfast.

"Good morning sweetie", mom say from the living room.

I yawned "Morning".

Mom: "How did you sleep?"

"Honestly pretty good till I woke up this early for no reason", I say laughing.

"Well maybe it good that you did so you can get used to it faster since you start school next week". I looked back at her disappointed, "ugh please don't remind me I'm already nervous about it".

"Honey there is no reason to be nervous you'll be great and I'm sure you'll make loads of friends" she smiled sincerely.

I sigh, "I guess your right, but do you mind if I go out and skate a bit around the neighbor hood". I love skating helps me relieve stress and nerves.

Mom: "Yeah that's fine"

"umm also where is dad", I look around confused.

Mom: "He's at work already"

"Oh I didn't realize he would start as soon as we got here", I say looking at her.

Mom smiles, "They wanted him to start as soon as possible so he could get settled into it".

"Makes sense, anyways I'ma head out I love ya" I wave walking out the door.

It's so beautiful here like don't get me wrong I love being in a small town but this city is a good change I can feel it.

I've been skating around for a while now and I'm starting to get thirsty. As I'm skating down some road I spot a soda shop. It's called Galco's soda pop shop. 

I wonder if they got sum good stuff here. I skate up to the store and hop off my board opening the door. 

I went to grab my board off the ground and ran into someone. "Oh my God I'm so sorry I-", holy shit this girl is so beautiful.

"What the fuck", the blue eyed girl says out of anger. 

She looks at me waiting for me to say something. "oh um im sorry it was an accident", i say sincerely.

"I mean its okay just threw me off a little bit", she says more calm sounding this time.

"Do you want me to get you a new soda or something", i feel bad the least i could do is get her a new drink.

She smiles at me, "That's very nice of you but its okay i was almost finished with it anyways".

Well that was something I'm not gonna front though she was so fine. The way her blue eyes sparkled and her grey hair complimented all her features ugh. 

Anyways i need to find a drink and get home I've been out here skating since seven in the morning and its already almost twelve.

I got me a grape soda and started making my way back to the house.

I'm about ten minutes from home and lemme tell you it is starting to get hot as hell out here. "Oh shit", i hit a fucking crack in the sidewalk and almost face planted.

"What the fuck kinda bull shit is this" i say to myself pointing at the crack in the sidewalk.

After recovering from my near death experience i hopped back on my board and continued the rest of my ride back home.

I arrive home and walk inside immediately run up to my bathroom and hop in the shower. After getting out the shower i put on some more comfy clothes and go downstairs with my mom and brother.

We make something for lunch and after that went to the living room to play some games and wait on dad to return home from work.

Some hours passed and its about six o'clock now. Dad just walked through the door after his long day at work.

Liam and I run up to him giving him a hug. "hey, how was your first day" i ask.

"It wasn't to bad", he says with a smile going to embrace mom in a hug who has now made her way over to greet him.

I'm very proud of him he's always doing so much to give us the best life possible. Plus he has been trying to get into software development for as long as I can remember so he's very happy about it.

After we greeted dad mom started on dinner and its now time to eat. Moms meals are the best.

"Thank you for dinner mom it was so good, but I'ma head to bed I love you guys" i gave mom a hug and waved to dad and Liam and headed up stairs.

Almost as soon as I made it up stairs and plopped in my bed I had fallen asleep.
