Fingers crossed I hope to live. Walking, trembling, through this forest green. I could hear slow branches moving, not steps, not breathing, not anything resembling a person or animal. It drives and fades in this forest. Surrounding me, almost trying to identify me. All I can do is wait and pray. I tried to follow it with my eyes and ears, but it only seemed to anger it, making it go faster. By survival instinct my heart starts racing, I don't know what it is but my body tells me to be afraid of it. Hoping I can keep track of it and block it with what physique I have, I attempt even harder to follow it with my eyes. My ears, almost useless now, I can only hear the pounding of my heart. Unable to make out if it's now making steps of how aggressive it has become, all I know is that its presence grew stronger and more dangerous. Fear of death, abrasive in its coming. I felt I wanted to cry, run and hit something, anything. Seconds passed but it felt like hours, so exhausted by now. I gave up and sat down in a small pile of wood I was working on. I closed my eyes and hoped it would end quickly. I hope that creature will just come out and finish it.
Somehow I was alive but now it was evening, I probably slept off and it was just a nightmare. At least I hoped it was.
