Background:
• Reed was left at a hospital as a baby and bounced around foster homes until Rosalie and Emmett found him. While Rosalie originally had reservations due to her trauma around motherhood, she felt something unexplainable when she met him like her soul had finally found what it was missing.
• Reed first discovered his powers while at the orphanage. A fall from a tree should have broken his arm but instead, his arm bounced and stretched. Over time, he learned to control his body, experimenting in secret.
• Rosalie and Reed are soulmates not in a romantic sense, but in the deepest, most unconditional mother son bond imaginable. She believes the universe gave her Reed for a reason.
