Chapter 22: Who's that...?

Start from the beginning

"It's called Pokémon masters! And it's training them!" Misty shouted. "In order for them to compete with each other in tournaments!"

"Much better." Bakugo slowly blinked back. "So you're a bunch of kids who are kidnapping them, training them, locking them up only for them to fight against each other to enhance your own statues." When his only responds was to see their jaws drop, he quickly turned to the others. "And they say I'm messed up?"

"What Bakugo is trying to say is...isn't that animal cruelty?" Mina carefully asked understanding that these were still younger kids.

"Really?" Bakugo raised a disbelieving brow.

"Well I told you I'm an animal lover now!" Mina protested.

'NOW!' They all thought.

"Look, I'm sure it's not like it sounds." Uraraka rationalized. "And it's not like we didn't see our fair share of things we shouldn't have when we were only fifteen right?"

"Oi how old are you kids?" Bakugo suddenly asked.

"I'm ten!" Ash announced. "And a Pokémon master in training."

Giving it some thought, Bakugo swiftly turned to Kaminari. "Sparky! How's your quirk?"

"Quirk?"

"Flashy at most." Kaminari glanced at his hand. "Just give it a little time."

"We don't have time." Bakugo argued.

"Well it doesn't work that way!" Kaminari argued. "You have to give it some time!"

"Um what are they talking about?" Misty asked.

"Beats me."

"Pika?"

"You guys are always more than welcome to join us if you want." Ash offered.

"Pass."

"Bakugo." Uraraka whisper shouted before addressing them. "Do you happen to know how long it is until the next town?"

"Sure, it's about half a days walk from here, we can take you!"

"Hmm?" Looking down Kaminari's smile grew when he saw the mouse like creature slither down Ashes arm to stand near his legs. "Hey there little guy."

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Ash warned. "Pikachu doesn't take to kindly to others."

"Or Ash."

"Quit saying that!" Ash frustratedly turned to Misty.

"Really?" Grinning Kaminari studied the yellow creature and found it quite cute how his tail world twitch from time to time. "Pikachu huh?" Thinking it over he slowly extended his hand out. "You know Kacchan calls me that sometimes too, wonder why that is...."

"Wait don't!"

"Piiika-chuuuu!"

"GAHHHHHH!"

Snapping his eyes shut Ash along with Misty and Brock as the electricity continued shooting out of Pikachu began flashing violently as it hit Kaminari full force before a flashing blue light appeared only to dissolve the next.

"Pikachu!" Ash scolded down before confusingly blinking when he couldn't find any sign of these people.

"Ash?"

"What happened?" Brock quizzically asked as they looked around to see the strangers nowhere in sight.

"Great Pikachu now you've done it!"

"Pika?"

The echoes of wood hitting wood echoed through the compounds of the place right as a flashing blue orb appeared that made the noise instantly stop.

"LOOK OUT!" They shouted as they were spat out one by one.

"Ow...well at least now I know why." Kaminari painfully winced after receiving Kirishima's boot to the leg after falling. "At least we didn't get split up this time again right?"

"Shut up." Bakugo grits his teeth which made his friends instantly freeze as they followed his line of sight when a pair of black dress boots stopped on the ground in front of their faces.

"Well well well..." Said a very tall, lean and muscular man wearing a dark blue zip-up high collard jacket with matching black pants. His silk white hair was propped up giving it a rather spikier appearance as he curiously tilted his head, regarding them for a minute along with a few others behind him.

And...was that a panda back there?!

It wasn't the man himself that struck them as odd, but the fact that he was wearing a simple black blindfold that covered his eyes that made them wearier of where they may have landed next. "Now what do we have here?"
