"I don't know what his problem is."
"Huh?" Ok now he was lost.
"I mean...he constantly infuriates me, teases me, constantly gets mad at me for things I don't even know and then gives me this." She waved around the pin. "Who does that?"
'Bakugo apparently...' he inwardly cringed. 'So what did happen at the bridge?!' Kirishima was dying to know but decided it wasn't his place to ask, at least for now.
"And now pretense that what happened on that bridge didn't even happen!"
'Dude this is killing me!' He dramatically fisted his hands as he continued to force his mouth shut.
"How can he do that?" Uraraka saw the boy stiffly shaking after her rambling. "Kirishima!"
"W-well maybe it could be from all his years of experience..."
"What?"
"I mean..." Dragging his hand down his face he tried to come up with something that would erase his little mishap since apparently Bakugo didn't confess to the girl after all. "He's a complicated guy Uraraka, and you know Bakugo..."
"That's the thing I don't know." She frowned. "I thought I did but ever since leaving school there has been this...awkward thing between us that just seems to be pushing us further and further apart."
"Maybe that's not the problem."
"Then what is the problem?" she was hesitant to ask, her voice straining with unshed emotions. "Because the thing is Kirishima, despite how he may feel about me since I know he's still mad at me for some reason...I don't want to lose him. But now I'm worried that I already am."
"Then maybe he's the one you should be telling this to." Placing a comforting hand on her shoulder he offered her a small smile before they continued walking.
"He won't even talk to me. That back there, was the first time since we meet the Sohmas that he even as so much as looked at me...and when he did..." chewing on her lower lip she tried to decipher the meaning behind the way he just stared at her. It made her feel warm...wanted...perhaps even...
"Hey can I ask you something?" Kirishima waited until she faintly nodded. "What is it between you and Midoriya really?"
"Deku?" Confusingly frowning she hadn't really thought about Deku in so long that it just now finally sank in along with guilt. "He...he asked me to meet him by the Cherry blossom Tree at school after I was done with cleaning the classroom." She admitted. "Said he wanted to talk to me about something..."
"Oh I get it." He quietly watched the way her face twisted with confusion. And he could understand the underlining meaning behind this special meeting...she was going to confess to Deku that day and perhaps he was too. Did Bakugo know? And if he did was that why he was behaving oddly that day to the point he ended up in detention? No that couldn't be it because he knew the reason for it...
"Hey you guys! Hey!"
"Huh?" Snapping their heads forward, they could barely make out a familiar pink figure running towards them waving her arms.
"Mina?!" Raising her hand to shield her eyes from the sun, Uraraka could see the girl eagerly waving as she ran towards them.
"Mina!" Kirishima was the first to run down the hill with a relieved smile followed by Uraraka. "Where'd you go?! We've been looking for you!"
Smiling Mina quickly returned their hugs. "Yeah sorry about that, but I caught this little guy sneaking around so I just had to follow him." She sheepishly grinned down at what they could only assume to be a rather small, yellow mouse-like creature with long, pointed ears ending in black tips. "I'm sorry to make you guys worry about me." She pivoted sideways. "Where is everyone else?"
