I grew up in la and the good part but it was very hard because I wasn't more than 5 minutes away from one of the richest communities ever all the kids from the rich part went to some fancy ass private school that I don't give a fück about. The rich kids ignored us, we ignored the rich kids simple as that.
My mom was a maid I have a very Hispanic family and I will never be ashamed of it. I helped her because I loved her she deserved it because all she had was me and my brother I would do anything for her. I would help her clean houses and like I said "The rich kids ignored us, we ignored the rich kids simple as that." That didn't just apply to the kids it applied to everyone including the adults so you can imagine my expression when my mom called me down.
"Tiffany!"
I went downstairs hoping to see what she wanted.

"Well I just got a call to work at a house uptown (rich kids)-."
"Wait,wait what how no they can't, you can't go!"
"Well actually you will be going I have a house the same time they want me to go I already told them you'd be going."

" I know baby but they offed ALOT of money and I just can't turn it down please babe for me."
Oh God I hated her right now she was giving me the pity look

Well it better be a damń good amount of money to be doing this but I know it would be my mom wouldn't just take this job it had to be worth it
